  • Publication number: 20220292838
Abstract: A vehicular display apparatus includes an obtaining unit that obtains obstacle information serving as information relating to an obstacle that hinders advancing of a preceding vehicle, and a display that displays the obstacle information in a situation where an own vehicle is stopped or is moving slowly, and the preceding vehicle is stopped or is moving slowly. The vehicular display apparatus displays a virtual image of the obstacle information, for example, in a case where the own vehicle is a first vehicle located on this side of an intersection, and the preceding vehicle is located on the other side of the intersection.

  • Patent number: 10551630
Abstract: A display apparatus for motor vehicle capable of enhancing stereoscopic image effect utilizing a simple configuration. Since the front part includes a tilt approaching to an upward side as the front part proceeding to the front side of the motor vehicle, and a stereoscopic image is displayed on a display surface, the image is made visible in combination with the front part when the ring member is positioned at the tilt position. The image is expressed as having a visual depth by not only a mere image but also by the tilted front part so that the stereoscopic image effect is enhanced due to the combination of the front part and the stereoscopic image having a visual depth. Further, the configuration is simplified since the stereoscopic image effect can be enhanced without a need of altering the direction of the display surface.

  • Patent number: 10133069
Abstract: There is provided a vehicle display device capable of simplifying a configuration for a passenger. A ring member is provided to be closer to the front side (opposite to the passenger) than a half mirror, and thus the configuration for the passenger can be further simplified than the half mirror, thereby achieving a simple appearance. The ring member is visually confirmed through the half mirror thereby to display the ring member and an image in combination like a configuration in which a decorative member is provided to be closer to the passenger than the display as conventionally.

  • Publication number: 20160347177
Abstract: An operating device includes an operating unit (10) that is one for an operator to select a plurality of operation modes of an on-vehicle device as an operation target; an operating direction detector that detects an operating direction of the operating unit; a display unit that displays an image corresponding to an operation of the operating unit; and a controller that controls the on-vehicle device depending on operation content of the operating unit and alters display content of the display unit depending on the operation content. The controller causes the display unit to display as selection icons a plurality of operation modes out of the respective operation modes in the selection mode corresponding to an operating direction of the operating unit and to make the selection icon of the selection mode selected according to the operation of the operating unit visually prominent.
