  • Patent number: 5002859
Abstract: A method for forming photographic color images is disecond closed, in which a silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material is rapidly processed with low replenishment of processing solutions. The images improved in lowered yellow stain can be obtained. The processing comprises steps of color developing, bleaching immediately after the developing step, and treating with a bath having a fixing capability following the bleaching step. The steps of bleaching and treating with a solution having a fixing capability are carried out for a time of not more than 3 minutes 45 seconds at a temperature of from 20.degree. to 45.degree. C. The light-sensitive material comprises silver halide emulsion layers each containing silver bromide and/or silver boromoiodide grains and satsifies at least one of the following requirements (1) and (2); (1) a blue light-sensitive emulsion layer included in the silver halide emulsion layers has a silver density d of not less than 4.0.times.10.sup.-1 g/cm.sup.3.

  • Patent number: 4766058
Abstract: A photographic material comprising at least one blue sensitive silver halide emulsion layer is disclosed. The silver density of the emulsion layer is not less than 4.0.times.10.sup.-1 g/cm.sup.3 and the dry thickness of the layer is not more than 4.0 .mu.m. A core/shell type silver halide emulsion and a high-speed reaction type scavenger for the oxidation products of a developing agent are preferably used for the emulsion layer. The photographic material has a high sensitivity and provides an image having a superior sharpness and resolution.

  • Patent number: 4762778
Abstract: A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material has a support and at least one silver halide emulsion layer. At least one of the silver halide emulsion layers has a group of substantially monodisperse core/shell type silver halide grains having a value of not greater than 0.15. This value is obtained by dividing a standard deviation value by the average grain size value. The substantially monodisperse core/shell-type silver halide grains have shells from 0.01 to 0.1 in thickness. The silver halide grains include a silver iodide in the core in an amount of less than 8 mole % and a silver iodide in the shell of from 0.1 mole % to 6 mole %. A development inhibitor releasing compound having a relative development inhibitability of not less than 1 is also present in the emulsion layer.

  • Patent number: 4686176
Abstract: In a light-sensitive silver halide photographic material having blue-sensitive, green-sensitive and red-sensitive photosensitive layers on a support and being capable of forming a multi-color image, the improvement wherein at least one of said photosensitive layers comprises a high sensitivity layer and a low sensitivity layer; at least one of said high sensitivity layers contains flat plate silver halide grains with an average aspect ratio of 5:1 or higher; and at least one of said low sensitivity layer contains an emulsion comprising silver halide grains which are substantially mono-dispersed.

  • Patent number: 4670375
Abstract: Disclosed is a light-sensitive silver halide color photographic material comprising a support and a plurality of silver halide emulsion layers on the support, the emulsion layers being substantially identical in color sensitivity but different in sensitivity and containing at least one of a dye image-forming coupler, characterized in that silver halide grains contained in at least one layer of the plurality of silver halide emulsion layers consist substantially of monodispersed silver halide grains, a color concentration of the emulsion layer comprising the monodispersed silver halide grains being within the range of 60 to 98% of the total color concentration of the plurality of silver halide emulsion layers. The employment of the monodispersed silver halide grains of this invention and the increase in a concentration of the grains in the emulsion layers permit the improvement of graininess, the enlargment of exposure range and better of stability to processing and stability with time.
