    Abstract: A microwave heating device mountable to an electric device, includes: a commercial power supply; an AC/DC converter which outputs a plurality of DC voltages according to power supplied from the commercial power supply; a controller which receives power from the AC/DC converter and totally controls the electric device; a microwave processing device using a compound semiconductor which receives a plurality of outputs of the AC/DC converter and outputs a microwave; and a plurality of loads connected between, of the DC voltages output from the AC/DC converter, a predetermined Vd voltage and ground through a plurality of contacts. The loads form a group of electric components in the electric device. The controller controls power supply to the loads, and controls on/off of the contacts to drive the loads by the Vd voltage regardless of the voltage of the commercial power supply.

    Abstract: A contactless power transmission device includes a power receiver, a power feeder configured to contactlessly feed power to the power receiver, the power feeder including a primary coil configured to generate magnetic flux by an input alternating current voltage, and a cover configured to cover the primary coil, and a capacitive sensor configured to supply an alternating current voltage to an electrode to measure a capacitance occurring between the electrode and foreign matter present around the cover and thereby detect the foreign matter. The frequency of the alternating current voltage of the capacitive sensor is set to be higher than the frequency of the magnetic flux generated by the primary coil.

    Abstract: The invention aims to provide a high-frequency device enable to protect circuits connected to an antenna terminal from possible intruding static electricity or high voltage noises. Diplexer 11 connected to antenna terminal 10 carries out demultiplexing or multiplexing frequency for GSM or DCS band. Circuits to process frequency for GSM and DCS band have switches 13 and 14 respectively for switching to transmit or to receive signals for diplexer 11. Switch 13 and 14 are connected to low pass filters 15 and 16 respectively to clear off higher harmonics in transmitting signals, and are connected to SAW filters 17 and 18 having respective specific pass bands. Filters 15, 16, 17 and 18 are connected to terminals 19, 20, 21 and 22 respectively. Moreover, a first end of varistor 23 is connected between antenna terminal 10 and diplexer 11 and a second end of varistor 23 is connected to ground terminal 24.

    Abstract: A microwave oven includes a cavity in which food is accommodated, a magnetron for generating microwaves, and a waveguide to supply microwaves generated from the magnetron into the cavity. The waveguide has substantially a truncated cone configuration in which the cross sectional area at the cavity side is greater than the cross sectional area at the magnetron side, and an output antenna of the magnetron is disposed to project from the bottom of the waveguide at the magnetron side into the inner space of the waveguide. The microwave oven further includes a flat radiation antenna fixed in the inner space of the waveguide around the output antenna of the magnetron while maintaining distances from the waveguide and the output antenna of the magnetron in which no spark is generated. Therefore, the radiation area for emitting the microwaves is increased significantly to improve heating nonuniformity within the cavity.
