  • Patent number: 6595760
Abstract: A compressor including a compressing mechanical unit which inhales a refrigerant excluding chlorine, compresses the refrigerant, exhales the compressed refrigerant, and collects a refrigerating machine oil O compatible with the refrigerant, thereby lubricating the compressing mechanical unit with the refrigerating machine oil O. The compressor further includes an electric motor unit for driving the compressing mechanical unit. The electric motor unit includes a stator and a rotor, and is driven by an inverter. The stator includes three-phase wires and a stator core, wherein the stator core includes a yoke section and teeth sections on which the three-phase wires are wound, and the wires are wound on the teeth sections such that the wires on adjacent teeth sections have different phases.

  • Patent number: 5581140
Abstract: A permanent magnetic rotor is disclosed, which comprises a rotor iron core constructed of a large number of steel plates being layered, each of the steel plates peripherally defining a plurality of sector-shaped blanked holes, and sector-shaped permanent magnetic pieces inserted into the blanked holes, wherein each of the steel plates comprises an outer peripheral ring portion formed on an outer side of the blanked hole, a yoke portion formed on an inner side of the blanked hole, a connect portion formed between the outer peripheral ring portion and the yoke portion, and thin and long fitting protrusions formed at corner portions of the blanked hole in the vicinity of the connect portion, the fitting protrusions protruding to the magnet insertion hole, the fitting protrusions being fitted to the permanent magnetic piece so as to pressure and fix the permanent magnetic piece.

  • Patent number: 5424902
Abstract: A positioning current is supplied to each phase winding of a stator employed in an electric motor, thereby rotating a rotator in the motor to a predetermined reference position with the use of magnetic force created by the positioning current. Thereafter, a polarizing current is supplied to each phase winding of the stator, thereby polarizing permanent magnets incorporated in the rotator.

  • Patent number: 5363004
Abstract: A rotator element for an electric motor is formed with a cylindrical core body which is to be rotated by a rotary filed produced by a winding of the electric mortor and a plurality of magnets. The core body is substantially made of stacked disc-shaped plates, each of which has cutout portions arranged on the circumference areas so that the cylindrical core body is provided with holes when the disc-shaped plates are stacked. The magnets are inserted in the holes. For smooth insertion in the hole, each of magnets has a cutaway portion. The cutaway portion is projected or extended from the hole. A ring body is placed on the outermost side of stacked disc plates so that the outer surface of said ring body is substantially conform to the surface of said core body and the inner surface of said ring body is opposed to said cutaway portions of the magnets.
