  • Publication number: 20100056708
Abstract: A sealing compound comprising an aqueous dispersion which contains a rubber component of an ethylene propylene nonconjugated diene copolymer rubber as a chief component, a vulcanizing agent, a vulcanization accelerator and a filler. The sealing compound has excellent resistance against the contents that could not be handled with the metal container sealing compositions comprising the aqueous dispersion solution of the NBR and SBR, and exhibits excellent sealing performance and durability even when used for such contents. The sealing compound can be preferably used for the double-seam sealing being applied to the lid so as to be interposed between the lid and the container to seal the content by double-seaming the container with the lid.

  • Publication number: 20090313752
Abstract: A drying device in accordance with the invention is characterized by including: an air blowing portion for blowing pressurized air so as to dry a surface to be dried by a jet of pressurized air whose abutment area to the surface to be dried is narrower than the surface to be dried; and a moving unit for moving the air blowing portion while the jet is being blown such that the jet blown from the air blowing portion sequentially sweeps a substantially entire surface of the surface to be dried, wherein the moving unit includes a first moving device for moving the air blowing portion in a state in which a blowing direction of the jet is being maintained so as to form a predetermined angle with respect to a moving direction of the air blowing portion and a second moving device for moving the air blowing portion in a direction different from that of the moving direction.

  • Patent number: 6912320
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method for decompressing compressed data. First, a table is prepared in which the number of bits, consecutively present to the right of the certain bit and having the same color as the certain bit, is listed. Then, a predetermined number of reference data bits is taken from a reference line. Next, the table is searched with both the reference data bits and a position of an attentional bit in the data bits, in order to detect the number of bits of the same color as the attentional bit which are consecutively present to the right of the attentional bit. Thereafter, a pixel, right away from the attentional bit by a distance equal to the addition of 1 and the detected number of bits, is found as a color-changed pixel on the reference line. The compressed data is decoded based on the position of the found color-changed pixel.

  • Publication number: 20050096981
Abstract: When a customer visits a shop, a tag detector installed near the entrance of the shop senses a membership card carried by the customer, obtains the customer's member identification number, and records the customer's member identification number and an arrival time, at which the customer has visited the shop, in a visiting-customer information database. When the customer makes payment at a cash register that is a POS terminal, a customer master database is referenced in order to check if any other customer is a registered member of a group to which the customer belongs. If any other customer is a registered member of a group, the visiting-customer information database is referenced in order to check if the registered member has arrived at the shop in a predetermined time or less after the time at which the customer has arrived. If the customer has come with another member of the group, a reward is given to the customer.

  • Publication number: 20040044955
Abstract: A slip processing device that processes a slip with an answer column to be checked with a mark comprises a slip recognition unit detecting the mark checked in the answer column, based on the image data of the slip, an answer column coloring unit modifying the values of pixels located in the vicinity of the answer column in the image data, based on the detected result, and an output control unit outputting the image data, whose pixel values are modified based on the detected result, on a display device. Thus, an operator can easily distinguish an answer column checked with a mark from one without a check mark in the image.

  • Publication number: 20040019687
Abstract: A sense of unity is maintained among a plurality of Web sites provided by a plurality of timeout management servers respectively. A timeout management system 10 includes a plurality of timeout management servers 100 and 200 for providing a service to an access side in response to an access via a communication network 400 based on a temporary access right, and also managing a so-called timeout process, and a client 300 holding the access right in parallel with respect to the plurality of timeout management servers 100 and 200, in which the timeout management server 100 is provided with an access occurrence section for, in response to the access with respect to the timeout management server 100 by the client 300, based on the access right of the client 300, causing the access to occur with respect to the other timeout management server 200.

  • Patent number: 6674912
Abstract: The present invention provides a high speed MMR compression processing method by reducing the number of times of repeating a process of finding the positions of changing pixels a1, a2, b1, and b2. According to this method, first, a bit string corresponding to pixel data is obtained from an image. Then, data are sequentially fetched from the bit string byte by byte. Subsequently, a search is made of a table that describes the number of consecutive bits that are arranged to the right of and have the same color as each of bits of each byte of all bit patterns represented by bits included in the fetched 1 byte. Then, the number of consecutive bits, which are arranged to the right of and have the same color as each of bits of each of the fetched bytes, is detected according to the bit patterns represented by bits of the fetched byte. Subsequently, a pixel placed at the position corresponding to the number obtained by adding 1 to the detected number of consecutive bits is determined as a color changing pixel.
