  • Publication number: 20230349532
Abstract: A light emitting emblem includes: a light emitting element as a light source; a housing configured to house the light emitting element; and a cover including an emblem on a surface thereof, including a light transmitting portion as defined herein, and attached to the housing to cover the light emitting element, at least a part of an outer surface of the light transmitting portion is exposed to an outside as a light emitting region of the cover, an inner surface of the light transmitting portion includes a bent portion being a boundary line between a plane and a plane different in orientation, and all low-lightness lines, which are linear low-brightness regions appearing on a surface other than the inner surface of the light transmitting portion due to a factor including refraction of light incident on the bent portion, appear in a region other than the light emitting region.

  • Publication number: 20230256917
Abstract: A light-emitting emblem includes a light-emitting element, a reflector to reflect light emitted from the light-emitting element, a housing that houses the light-emitting element and the reflector, and a cover including an emblem on a surface thereof and a light-emitting portion on the surface to allow light emitted from the light-emitting element to be extracted therethrough, the cover being attached to the housing so as to cover the light-emitting element and the reflector. The light-emitting element is disposed such that an optical axis thereof is directed to the cover. The reflector includes two side walls facing each other with the light-emitting element positioned therebetween and extending from the housing side toward the cover, and an opening outlined by end portions of the two side walls on the cover side. Light emitted from the light-emitting element is reflected at an inner surface of the reflector and guided to the light-emitting portion.

  • Patent number: 10859224
Abstract: A substrate supports a light source and a control circuit. The control circuit is configured to be able to control lighting and lights-out of the light source. The substrate is supported to a conductive housing. The housing is configured to couple with a transparent cover through which light emitted from the light source is to pass. The housing has a through-hole. A connector unit has a connection part and a terminal holding part. The connection part is arranged outside the housing. At least a part of the insulating terminal holding part is arranged in the through hole. The terminal holding part holds a conductive terminal. The conductive terminal is coupled to the substrate and electrically connected to the control circuit.
