  • Patent number: 6694136
Abstract: There is provided a radio communication system including (a) a plurality of terminal equipments connected to one another by a radio system through a radio base station connected to a communication line, and (b) a service control station existing on the communication line, and controlling communication among the terminal equipments, the terminal equipments being designed to be capable of communicating data information with one another through the service control station. For instance, the data information includes picture data, image data, and audio data. For instance, each of the terminal equipments is comprised of a simplified personal handyphone. In accordance with the radio communication system, a terminal equipment or a PHS terminal equipment stores only minimum index information in an internal storage circuit, and hence, it is no longer necessary to store data information. This is realized by a small-sized storage circuit.

  • Patent number: 6226505
Abstract: A frequency correction apparatus for a radio calling system includes reception antennas, local oscillation sections, demodulation sections, and a correction control section. The reception antennas receive call signals constituted by frames as units, each constituted by a frame synchronization portion and a data portion. The local oscillation sections generate local oscillation frequencies. The demodulation sections demodulate the received call signals after the call signals are converted into reception intermediate frequencies by using the local oscillation frequencies from the local oscillation section. The correction control section corrects the local oscillation frequency of the local oscillation section on the basis of frequencies of the frame synchronization portions of demodulated signals output from the demodulation section.

  • Patent number: 5940744
Abstract: A frequency correction of a local frequency is performed by first checking whether synchronization is acquired with respect to the received signal and, when the synchronization has been acquired, performing a frequency correction twice at different timing within a synchronization section, the frequency correction correcting the local frequency so as to reduce an error of the local frequency with respect to a received frequency of the received signal.
