Patent number: 8151610Abstract: An operation mechanism section has a key lever that follows operation of a key cylinder, a lock lever that can move to an unlock position where operation of an operation handle is enabled and to a lock position where it is disabled, linkage levers that, when the lock lever is at the unlock or lock position, follows operation of the operation handle to make a door openable or not openable, and a motor that can move the lock lever to the unlock or lock position. The lock lever is formed by integrating together a gear section, a key operation input section, and an operation transmission section. The gear section is supported so as to be pivotable about a pivot shaft to the unlock and lock positions and directly meshing with a worm gear installed on the rotating shaft of the motor. The key operation input section is directly connected to the key lever. The operation transmission section is directly connected to the linkage lever.Type: GrantFiled: June 10, 2008Date of Patent: April 10, 2012Assignee: Mitsui Kinzoku Act CorporationInventor: Yoshihiko Fujihara

Patent number: 7581767Abstract: A latch engages with a striker fixed to a vehicle when a door of the vehicle is closed. A latch lever that turns together with the latch has an engagement portion. A closing lever forced by a spring has a pressing portion and has the same axis as a sector gear driven by a motor. If the door is incompletely closed or in a half-latched position, the closing lever turns by the sector gear driven by the motor, so that the pressing portion contact and press the engagement portion of the latch lever to allow the door to close completely. Even if the pressing portion inadvertently engages with the engagement portion, the sector gear and the closing lever can return to the original position independently. Then, the door can normally be closed.Type: GrantFiled: August 18, 2006Date of Patent: September 1, 2009Assignee: Mitsui Mining and Smelting Co., Ltd.Inventor: Yoshihiko Fujihara

Patent number: 7458621Abstract: One actuator selectively operates a latch lever linked to a latch and a ratchet lever, a push rod, a bell crank and a pull rod linked to a ratchet. When the front door and the rear door of a car having the center pillarless design are closed, the actuator operates the latch lever causing the latch to engage with a striker to connect the front door and the rear door. When the front door and the rear door are connected and a passenger opens either of the two doors, the actuator operates the ratchet lever, the push rod, the bell crank, and the pull rod causing the latch and the striker to be disengaged to disconnect the front door and the rear door.Type: GrantFiled: June 14, 2005Date of Patent: December 2, 2008Assignee: Mitsui Mining & Smelting Co., Ltd.Inventors: Yoshihiko Fujihara, Mikio Ichinose

Patent number: 6126212Abstract: A vehicle door latch device comprises a connecting member for connecting a lock pin with a lock lever. The connecting member has a lever side member connected to a lock lever, a pin side member connected to a lock pin, and a connecting spring for elastically connecting the lever side member with the pin side member. The connecting member changes length thereof against the elasticity of the spring to allow the lock lever to be displaced to an unlocked position from a locked position, when the lock pin cannot be displaced from a disengagement position to an engagement position by a displacement of the lock lever from a locked position toward an unlocked position while the open lever is in a door-opening position.Type: GrantFiled: May 12, 1999Date of Patent: October 3, 2000Assignee: Mitsui Kinzoku Kogyo Kabushiki KaishaInventor: Yoshihiko Fujihara

Patent number: 5618068Abstract: A door lock apparatus with automatic door closing mechanism comprises a latch engaging with a striker secured to a vehicle body, an automatic door closing motor for over-rotating the latch at its half-latched position beyond its full-latched position while the motor rightly rotates, a switch adapated to turn to continuously ON when the latch is between the half-latched and full-latched positions and turn to OFF when the latch is at other position than between the half-latched and full-latched positions, and a controller for rightly rotating the motor when door closing operation turns the switch from its OFF condition to ON condition and reversely rotating motor when the switch turns from ON to OFF.Type: GrantFiled: April 6, 1994Date of Patent: April 8, 1997Assignee: Mitsui Kinzoku Kogyo Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Jiro Mitsui, Hirofumi Watanabe, Yoshihiko Fujihara
