  • Patent number: 7785436
Abstract: A laminating apparatus and a laminating method for finely finishing laminate processing without performing edge processing after the laminate processing is performed to a recording medium. A laminate material having a size larger than that of the recording medium is placed to cover the recording medium, bonded with heat and pressure, and a laminate layer protruding from the recording medium is transferred to a means to be transferred to, which is arranged on an opposite plane side to a recording plane of the recording medium. When the means to be transferred to is arranged apart on the opposite plane side to the recording medium, the laminate layer is pulled into the opposite plane side to the recording medium. As a result, an edge of the laminate layer formed on the recording plane of the recording medium becomes fine, matching with an edge of the recording medium.

  • Patent number: 5781821
Abstract: A float sensor system for a replenishing tank 70 including an injection nozzle 80 attachable to a liquid feeding nozzle 60 of a replenishing device 70 for replenishing processing liquid to a development processing tank unit. This system includes a float 82 provided to the injection nozzle 80 of a replenishing tank 71-74 and movable between a first position and a second position, and a float detecting sensor 64 mounted to the liquid feeding nozzle 60. When an amount of liquid in the replenishing tank attached to the liquid feeding nozzle 60 exceeds a predetermined value, the float 82 is moved to the first position. When the liquid amount is lower than the predetermined level, the float 82 is moved to the second position. Also, the float detecting sensor 64 outputs a float detection signal when the float 82 is located at this second position.

  • Patent number: 5627619
Abstract: An automatic photographic developing machine allows a rack to be pushed up only if a feed mechanism of such rack is put under excessive load, and is made of fewer parts and is simple in structure. The rack has a feed mechanism for feeding photosensitive material and is inserted in a treating tank. The rack has an input shaft at its upper portion. The input shaft carries a helical gear in mesh with a worm of a drive shaft. A resilient piece made of synthetic resin is supported on a presser holder slidable in the axial direction of the drive shaft. An end of the resilient member is located opposite the end of the input shaft to prevent the rack from being pushed up. If the force urging the rack upward exceeds the resilience of the resilient piece due to an excessive load applied to the feed mechanism, the resilient piece is resiliently deformed by the input shaft. The rack is thus pushed up, and the helical gear is disengaged from the worm.

  • Patent number: 5567310
Abstract: A strainer includes a filter which is easily detachable without the possibility of fluid leakage. The strainer has a housing defining a bore and is formed with a fluid inlet and outlet, and an end plate formed with a circular hole and cutouts provided along the edge of the circular hole, opposite to each other. A closure member is rotatably mounted in the bore of the housing and is formed with a passage through which the inlet and the outlet can communicate with each other, and a filter mounting hole. A filter is detachably inserted in the filter mounting hole. It has a flange and a knob formed with a protrusion. The edge of the circular hole is sandwiched between the protrusion and the flange. By turning the knob, the closure member can be turned to a position where it closes both the inlet and outlet. By pulling the knob in this state, the filter can be pulled out of the filter mounting hole for cleaning or replacement.

  • Patent number: 5097632
Abstract: A numerically controlled machine tool, such as a grinding machine, is capable of machining a workpiece with a precise dimension by measuring a workpiece machining dimension and/or a tool length. According to one aspect of the invention, when the machining operation is provisionally terminated, a machining dimension of the workpiece is measured without dismounting the workpiece from a table. If a machining error is detected, the workpiece is further machined to a target dimension to thus eliminate the machining error. According to another aspect of the invention, the grinding surface of a grinder is subjected to dressing or truing, and the length of the grinder reduced through the dressing or truing is detected to determine the actual length of the grinder. With the known length of the grinder, the feeder amount of the grinder with respect to the workpiece is set for the subsequent machining operation.
