  • Patent number: 10966167
Abstract: A radio communication apparatus is provided, which includes a receiver and a controller. The receiver, in operation, receives a first power headroom (PHR), which is obtained by subtracting a transmit power for a data channel from a maximum transmit power at a mobile station and which is transmitted from the mobile station, and receives a second PHR, which is obtained by subtracting the transmit power for the data channel and a transmit power for a control channel from the maximum transmit power at the mobile station and which is transmitted from the mobile station. The controller, in operation, selectively sets a simultaneous transmission of the data channel and the control channel in different frequency bands to be performed by the mobile station. When the data channel and the control channel are simultaneously transmitted in different frequency bands from the mobile station, the second PHR is obtained and transmitted from the mobile station.

  • Publication number: 20210076332
Abstract: Disclosed is a wireless communication device that can suppress an increase in power consumption of a terminal while preventing the degradation of SINR measurement precision resulting from TPC errors in a base station. A terminal controls the transmission power of a second signal by adding an offset to the transmission power of a first signal; an offset-setting unit sets an offset correction value in response to a transmission time gap between a third signal transmitted the previous time and the second signal transmitted this time; and a transmission power control unit controls the transmission power of the second signal using the correction value.

  • Patent number: 10932227
Abstract: Provided are wireless communication methods for D2D communication and UEs therefor. A wireless communication method involves transmitting either a first DCI or a second DCI based on whether a first UE and a second UE are to be in a communication type of groupcast or unicast. In the wireless communication methods, the first DCI and the second DCI are scrambled by the UE ID of the second UE if the first UE and the second UE are in the communication type of unicast upon transmitting the first DCI and the second DCI, and the first DCI and the second DCI are scrambled by the group ID if the first UE and the second UE are in the communication type of groupcast upon transmitting the first DCI and the second DCI.

  • Patent number: 10911198
Abstract: Disclosed are a wireless transmitter and a reference signal transmission method that improve channel estimation accuracy. In a terminal, which transmits a reference signal using n (n is a non-negative integer 2 or greater) band blocks (which correspond to clusters here), which are disposed with spaces therebetween in a frequency direction, a reference signal controller switches the reference signal formation method of a reference signal generator between a first formation method and a second formation method based on the number (n) of band blocks. In addition, a threshold value setting unit adjusts a switching threshold value based on the frequency spacing between band blocks. Thus, the reference signal formation method can be selected with good accuracy and, as a result, channel estimation accuracy is further improved.

  • Publication number: 20210014031
Abstract: It is possible to improve the CQI reception performance even when a delay is caused in a propagation path, a transmission timing error is caused, or a residual interference is generated between cyclic shift amounts of different ZC sequences. For the second symbol and the sixth symbol of the ACK/NACK signal which are multiplexed by RS of CQI, (+, +) or (?, ?) is applied to a partial sequence of the Walsh sequence. For RS of CQI transmitted from a mobile station, + is added as an RS phase of the second symbol and ? is added as an RS phase of the sixth symbol. A base station (100) receives multiplexed signals of ACK/NACK signals and CQI signals transmitted from a plurality of mobile stations. An RS synthesis unit (119) performs synthesis by aligning the RS phase of CQI.

  • Publication number: 20210013983
Abstract: Provided are a wireless communication apparatus and a reference signal generating method, wherein inter-cell interference is reduced inside and outside a CoMP set. A CoMP mode setting unit (101) sets whether the terminal (100) thereof is a CoMP terminal or a Non-CoMP terminal. When the terminal (100) is set as a Non-CoMP terminal, the hopping pattern calculating unit (104) calculates a ZC sequence number to be used as the transmission timing, from among all the ZC sequence numbers that can be used within the system. When the terminal (100) is set as a CoMP terminal, the hopping pattern calculating unit (104) calculates a ZC sequence number to be used as the transmission timing, by hopping the ZC sequence numbers to be used within the CoMP set. A ZC sequence generating unit (105) generates a ZC sequence to be used as an SRS, using the calculated ZC sequence number.

  • Publication number: 20200396016
Abstract: A terminal apparatus includes circuitry and a transmitter. The circuitry, in operation, generates a reference signal using a cyclic shift value and an orthogonal sequence, which are associated with each other. The orthogonal sequence is one of two orthogonal sequences corresponding to a first orthogonal sequence [1, 1] and a second orthogonal sequence [1, ?1]. The cyclic shift value is one of 12 cyclic shift values ranging from 0 to 11. The transmitter, in operation, transmits the reference signal multiplexed with a data signal. Two of the cyclic shift values having a difference of 6 are respectively associated with the two orthogonal sequences.

  • Publication number: 20200328834
Abstract: Provided is a sequence allocation method capable of reducing inter-cell interference of a reference signal when a ZC sequence is used as the reference signal in a mobile communication system. In the sequence allocation method, R×M sequences specified by a ZC sequence number r (r=1 to R) and a cyclic shift sequence number m (m=1 to M) are divided into a plurality of sequence groups X (X=1 to R) in accordance with the transmission band width of the reference signal, so that the ZC sequence is allocated to each cell in each sequence group unit. When it is assumed that R=9 and M=6, the number of sequences is 54. Each of the sequence groups is formed by two sequences. Accordingly, the number of sequence groups is 27. The 27 types of sequence groups are allocated to each cell.

  • Patent number: 10790923
Abstract: A terminal apparatus is disclosed wherein even in a case of applying SU-MIMO and MU-MIMO at the same time, the inter-sequence interference in a plurality of pilot signals used by the same terminal can be suppressed to a low value, while the inter-sequence interference in pilot signal between terminals can be reduced. In this terminal apparatus: a pilot information deciding unit decides, based on allocation control information, Walsh sequences of the respective ones of first and second stream groups at least one of which includes a plurality of streams; and a pilot signal generating unit forms a transport signal by using the decided Walsh sequences to spread the streams included in the first and second stream groups. During this, Walsh sequences orthogonal to each other are established in the first and second stream groups, and users are allocated on a stream group-by-stream group basis.

  • Publication number: 20200305185
Abstract: Communication apparatuses and methods reduce the amount of signaling while maintaining a high scheduling gain. A determination unit stores a correspondence between the number of code words and the number of clusters to reduce the maximum value for the number of clusters allocated to each terminal as the number of code words increases, and thus determines the maximum value for the number of clusters based on the number of code words acquired. Based on the number of code words for a transmission signal from a terminal, an estimated value for the reception quality that is output by an estimation unit, and the maximum value for the number of clusters that is output by the determination unit, a scheduling unit schedules the allocation of the transmission signal transmitted by each terminal to a transmission band frequency (frequency resource) so as not to exceed the maximum value for the number of clusters.

  • Publication number: 20200259619
Abstract: Provided is a radio communication base station device which can suppress a use amount of an SRS communication resource. In this device, a correlation rule setting unit (102) sets a rule for correlating a preamble with an SRS transmission time interval so that the preamble transmission time band and the SRS transmission time band are in the same transmission time band. An SRS transmission band decision unit (103) decides a time interval of a transmission time band which can transmit the SRS according to the preamble transmission time interval inputted from a preamble transmission band decision unit (101) and the correlation rule setting unit (102).
