  • Patent number: 4410799
Abstract: In a radiation image information read out apparatus using a stimulable phosphor in which a radiation image is once recorded and then read out by use of stimulating rays impinging thereupon, the gain of the read out system is controlled according to a fluctuation of the intensity of the stimulating ray source by use of an additional photodetector. The read out gain is also controlled according to the radiographic conditions by means of the standard signal for setting the sensitivity level of the read out system.

  • Patent number: 4278347
Abstract: A cathode-ray tube image recording device for recording images on a photosensitive thermal development recording medium which may have a reduced sensitivity due to time deterioration. An image of a density wedge is exposed and developed then sensed to determine the sensitivity of the recording medium. The sensing operation produces a density identification step number which is used to set one or both of the brightness and light emission time of the cathode-ray tube in accordance with a predetermined characteristic curve or function. A switchable resistor circuit or read-only memory may be used for applying the characteristic function.

  • Patent number: 4120722
Abstract: A process for thermal development, which comprises irradiating with microwaves an imagewise exposed thermally developable recording material in thermal contact with a conductive layer or material having a surface electric resistance ranging from about 1 ohm/.quadrature. to about 10.sup.5 ohm/.quadrature., whereby the heat generated in the conductive layer or material develops the thermally developable recording material.

  • Patent number: 4036008
Abstract: In a mode switching type electronic timepiece of the type wherein time correction is made under a correction mode, where the same data is displayed over a predetermined period in the correction mode, the operation of the timepiece is automatically transferred from the correction mode in which power is consumed for the time display to a nondisplay mode in which no power is consumed for the time display or a specific mode in which less power is consumed.

  • Patent number: 3938164
Abstract: A device for recording a cathode-ray tube image comprising means for detecting temperatures of a thermal developing device and means for controlling either brightness of the cathode-ray tube or light emission time or a combination thereof. The change in developing temperature may be corrected by electrical means. The device provides prints of uniform density.
