  • Patent number: 10661826
Abstract: The microcomputer included in the steering control unit calculates a basic assist component that is a component of the assist force, on the basis of the steering torque. The microcomputer calculates a damping compensation component that suppresses a sudden change in a rotation angle, on the basis of a rotational angular velocity that is a time rate of change of the rotation angle. The microcomputer calculates, independently of the damping compensation component, a return compensation component that suppresses influence of the damping compensation component, on the basis of the rotational angular velocity. The microcomputer compensates the basic assist component by using both the damping compensation component and the return compensation component, in a situation where the steering wheel comes back to the neutral position without a steering operation that a driver performs to return the steering wheel.

  • Patent number: 9979946
Abstract: Provided are an I/O device, an I/O program, and an I/O method that enable visual recognition with such a sense of distance as if a target object that is a real image were in contact with a stereoscopic image that is a virtual image. The I/O device according to the present invention includes: a display device that can generate a stereoscopic image; and a depth level sensor that measures a distance to a target object. A stereoscopic region of the stereoscopic image generated by the display device and a depth level detection region of the depth level sensor overlap with each other to thereby have a common region therebetween. • Patent number: 7959856
Abstract: Aluminum alloys and castings are provided that have excellent practical fatigue resistances. The alloy includes, based upon 100 mass %, 4-12 mass % of Si, less than 0.2 mass % of Cu, 0.1-0.5 mass % of Mg, 0.2-3.0 mass % of Ni, 0.1-0.7 mass % of Fe, 0.15-0.3 mass % of Ti, and the balance of aluminum (Al) and impurities. The alloy has a metallographic structure, which includes a matrix phase primarily of ?-Al and a skeleton phase crystallizing around the matrix phase in a network shape. The matrix phase is strengthened by precipitates containing Mg. Because of the strengthened matrix phase, and the skeleton phase that surrounds it, the castings have high strength, high fatigue strength, and high thermo-mechanical fatigue resistance.

  • Publication number: 20050000604
Abstract: An aluminum alloy according to the present invention includes from 4.0 to 6.0% Mg, from 0.3 to 0.6% Mn, from 0.5 to 0.9% Fe, and the balance of Al and inevitable impurities when the entirety is taken as 100% by mass. By appropriately selecting the composition range of Mg, Mn and Fe, it has been possible to micro-finely crystallize Al (Mn, Fe) compounds while inhibiting the growth of primary-crystal Al. As a result, the resulting aluminum alloy is good in terms of the castability, and shows high strength as well as high ductility.

  • Patent number: 5351126
Abstract: An optical measurement system for determination of a profile or thickness of an object includes first and second optical heads directing first and second light beams, respectively on first and second points on the surface of the object. Photo-sensors are included respectively in the first and second optical heads for receiving reflected lights from said first and second points and providing first and second outputs which varies in proportion to perpendicular distances from a reference plane to said first and second points on the object's surface. The first and second outputs are transmitted selectively to a single processing circuit through a switch. The processing circuit operates to process the first and second outputs in sequence to measure by triangulation the perpendicular distance of the first and second points from the reference plane and to analyze a surface or thickness of the object based upon thus measured perpendicular distances.

  • Patent number: 5103725
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a printer with a sheet feeding apparatus having a printer body incorporating a printing mechanism for printing onto continuous forms. A cutter is provided close to a continuous forms discharging port on the printer case. Following the cutter downstream, there is provided a sheet feeding belt that rotates at a rate higher than the feed rate of the continuous forms. Along the belt, there are provided a sheet traversing section, a sheet direction changing section, a sheet pushing section and a sheet stacker, in that order from upstream to downstream. The sheet traversing section seizes and feeds horizontally each sheet cut by the cutter. The sheet direction changing section perpendicularly changes the feed direction of each cut sheet. The sheet pushing section pushes each sheet onto the sheet stacker where an orderly stack of sheets is formed.
