  • Publication number: 20190130597
Abstract: Generally, an information processing device according to one embodiment includes storage, a receiver, a detector, an extractor, and a position specifier. The storage stores therein, imaging positional information indicating, identification information on a landmark set, and registration landmark information, in association with one another. The receiver receives a captured image for position specification from an onboard device. The extractor extracts imaging landmark information serving as information on a detected landmark from the captured image for position specification. The position specifier specifies the position indicated by the imaging positional information associated with the identification information on the landmark set including the registration landmark information similar to the imaging landmark information as the position of a vehicle at time when the captured image for position specification is taken.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, generally, an information processing apparatus includes a vehicle detector, a stopped-vehicle evaluator, a parked-vehicle evaluator, and a determiner. The vehicle detector detects a vehicle from a captured image by an imaging device mounted in a probe vehicle. The stopped-vehicle evaluator calculates a stopped-vehicle evaluation value based on one or more stopped-vehicle conditions. The parked-vehicle evaluator calculates a parked-vehicle evaluation value based on one or more parked-vehicle conditions. The determiner determines whether the vehicle is stopped or parked based on both the evaluation values.

  • Publication number: 20180268199
Abstract: An image processing apparatus has a processing circuit. The processing circuit functions as a three-dimensional data generation unit, a two-dimensional data generation unit, and a recognition image generation unit. The three-dimensional data generation unit generates three-dimensional data of an object ton the basis of an image of the object on which object information represented by a character or a symbol is attached, and a distance image indicating a distance between a reference position and the object for each pixel. The two-dimensional data generation unit flattens the three-dimensional data generated by the three-dimensional data generation unit to generate two-dimensional data. The recognition image generation unit generates a recognition image which is used to recognize the object information, on the basis of the two-dimensional data generated by two-dimensional data generation unit.
