Abstract: A compound of the formula [I] useful for treating allergic symptoms, cardiovascular disorders, cerebrovascular disorders, inflammation or other conditions mediated by SRS-A in humans and animals is disclosed.

Abstract: Compounds of the formula (I): ##STR1## or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein: R.sup.1 is cycloalkyl of 5 to 7 carbon atoms; aryl of 6 to 10 carbon atoms unsubstituted or substituted by straight or branched chain alkyl of 1 to 4 carbon atoms, halo or trifluoromethyl; or ##STR2## wherein A is oxygen, sulfur or NR.sup.5, wherein R.sup.5 is hydrogen, straight or branched chain alkyl of 1 to 4 carbon atoms or halo, and R.sup.6 is hydrogen, straight or branched chain alkyl of 1 to 4 carbon atoms or halo;R.sup.2 is straight or branched chain alkyl of 1 to 4 carbon atoms or cycloalkyl of 5 to 7 carbon atoms; andR.sup.3 and R.sup.4 are the same or different and each is hydrogen; straight or branched chain alkyl of 1 to 8 carbon atoms unsubstituted or substituted by hydroxy, acyloxy of 2 to 5 carbon atoms, carboxyl or carbamoyl;are useful for treating pain, inflammation and fever in humans and animals.

Abstract: A slider for a cutter knife comprises a slider main body (1) having a protrusion (6) for engaging a cutter blade (40), the blade and slider main body then being inserted into a holder (30) for longitudinal movement therein. A resilient stopper (3) is provided in the slider main body and includes forwardly and backwardly slanted resilient flaps (16,17) whose respective free ends engage two spaced-apart stopper dents (33) formed in the holder. A slider knob (4) is provided on the main body and is movable with respect to the main body to assume a neutral, forward movement, or backward movement position. A release protrusion (5) attached to the slider knob allows both flaps to engage stopper dents when the slider knob is in the neutral position. The release protrusion disengages one or the other of the resilient flaps from the stopper dents when the slider knob is moved to the forward or backward movement position.

Abstract: Compounds of formula I below are useful as anti-inflammatory, analgesic and/or anti-pyretic agents: ##STR1## in which R.sup.1 is hydrogen, nitro, amino, hydroxyl, alkoxy of one to four carbon atoms, alkyl of one to four carbon atoms or halogen; R.sup.2 is hydrogen or alkyl of one to four carbon atoms; is a saturated or unsaturated bond; A is CO, CHOH, C(R.sup.5)OH or CHOCOR.sup.6, where R.sup.5 and R.sup.6 are alkyl of one to four carbon atoms; B is alkyl of one to twelve carbon atoms; and X is H.sub.2 or O.
