  • Patent number: 11943410
Abstract: Setting conditions related to reading of an image of a document are registered in association with a user according to input by a user. When a user is identified, the priority order is determined so that a setting condition corresponding to the identified user is prioritized over a setting condition not corresponding to the user among the registered setting conditions, and the setting condition information indicating the setting conditions in the determined priority is displayed. The image is read under the setting condition based on the setting condition information selected according to the input by the user of the setting condition information indicating the displayed setting conditions.

  • Patent number: 10659648
Abstract: In S210, a character size and an inter-column size are calculated using a virtual body size in S206, and the character size and an inter-character size (inter-column size) are reflected in properties of each text box. In step S301, a position and a size of each text box are set, in step S302, the character size is set in the property of each text box, and in the following step S304, the inter-character size is set in the property so that characters do not overlap in each text box. Thereafter, in S306, the text boxes are superimposed so that reference frames of adjacent characters are in contact with each other.

  • Patent number: 5580458
Abstract: An apparatus for waste water treatment, wherein fluorine contained in waste water is treated into a fluoride through a chemical reaction and sludge containing the fluoride is thickened and dehydrated into a sludge cake, has first and second tanks each packed with calcium carbonate mineral. In the first tank, waster water containing fluorine is agitated by air discharged from an air diffuser and caused to react with the calcium carbonate mineral. Through this reaction of the waste water with the calcium carbonate mineral and action of microorganisms on the surface of the calcium carbonate mineral, a pH value and a fluorine concentration of the waste water is adjusted till the pH value and the fluorine concentration fall within their respective predetermined ranges.

  • Patent number: 5423988
Abstract: Developer-containing waste water is subjected to a multi-stage biological treatment. A waste water treatment apparatus for carrying out a two-stage biological treatment has an adjustment tank for receiving raw waste water and for preliminarily adjusting water quality of the waste water. First and second contact aeration tanks are used to biologically treat the waste water. First and second settling tanks are connected to the first and second contact aeration tanks for separating by sedimentation sludge from the waste water. Specifically, the first settling tank is connected to the second contact aeration tank. Sludge separated from the waste water is returned from the first and second settling tanks to first and second mixing tanks, respectively, and mixed with Bacillus Subtilis Kubota (BSK) and excess household sludge. The mixture is aerated and then transferred to the first and second contact aeration tanks, respectively.
