  • Patent number: 11965323
Abstract: According to the embodiment, a toilet device includes a nozzle, a flow channel, a heat exchanger, and a flow channel unit. The flow channel unit is located upstream or downstream of the heat exchanger in the flow channel. The flow channel unit includes a flow rate sensor and a vacuum breaker. The flow rate sensor detects a flow rate of water. The vacuum breaker suppresses a backflow of water. The flow rate sensor includes a first case part and a sensor part. The sensor part is housed inside the first case part. The vacuum breaker includes a second case part and a valve part. The valve part is housed inside the second case part. At least a part of the first case part and at least a part of the second case part is formed of a continuous member.

  • Patent number: 8563902
Abstract: An oxygen concentration sensor is disposed in an engine exhaust passageway. The alcohol concentration in the fuel used in the internal combustion engine is detected. A target impedance is set on the basis of the detected alcohol concentration. The actual impedance of a sensor element of the oxygen concentration sensor is detected. The heater output of the exhaust gas sensor is controlled so that the actual impedance becomes equal to the target impedance, whereby the temperature of the sensor element represented by the impedance becomes equal to a target temperature represented by the target impedance.

  • Patent number: 5437938
Abstract: A battery pack having rechargeable secondary batteries housed in a battery casing. The battery pack includes hollow tubular-shaped anodic and cathodic terminals in a right upper void and in a left upper void, respectively, of the battery casing. The voids are produced by housing the cylindrical first and second secondary batteries in the battery casing. An anodic terminal connecting pin and a cathodic terminal connecting pin are provided on an external equipment for fitting in and connecting with the anodic terminal and the cathodic terminal, respectively. Since there is no necessity for providing a particular mounting space for the anodic and cathodic terminals, the battery pack may be reduced in size, while the battery pack may be reliably supported with respect to the external equipment in a manner free from wobbling or detachment from the external equipment.

  • Patent number: 5086312
Abstract: A variable focal length camera having at least one auxiliary lens system which is inserted into or withdrawn from the optical axis of a main lens system. A lens holder holding the auxiliary lens system is swingably mounted on a shaft extending in the direction of the optical axis, and moves forward and rearward along the shaft for focus adjustment. In order to cancel the component of a force in the direction of the optical axis exerted by a tool by which a focus adjusting device is operated, the shaft is arranged to be motionless in the direction of the optical axis. According to a preferred embodiment, on the intermediate portion of the shaft, there is formed a thread meshing with a base portion of the lens holder so that the position of the lens holder is adjusted through rotation of the shaft, and after this lens position adjustment the base portion is fixed to the shaft.

  • Patent number: 4891089
Abstract: An apparatus for adhering ribbons to a cartridge shell plate comprises a conveyor for continuously conveying thin sheets disposed side by side, a pressure adherence unit for pushing two ribbon webs coated with an adhesive against edge portions of the thin sheets which are being conveyed, and a ribbon cutting mechanism for circulating cutter units beside the thin sheets in the direction of conveyance of the thin sheets in synchronization therewith, and swinging cutters of the cutter units to cut the ribbon webs between adjacent thin sheets. The cartridge shell plate is made by intermittently conveying thin sheets, which have been cut in a size equal to the developed length and width dimensions of the cartridge shell plate, by a conveyor, and cutting four corner portions of the thin sheet and then bending the thin sheet into a shiplike cross-sectional shape at a cutting process station and a bending process station disposed along the conveyor.
