  • Patent number: 6408892
Abstract: There is disclosed a hose comprising an inner layer as an inside layer and an outer layer disposed on an outer peripheral surface of the inner layer, in which an olefin thermoplastic elastomer comprising polypropylene (PP) and acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber (NBR) is used in the inner layer, and an olefin thermoplastic elastomer comprising polypropylele (PP) and ethylene-propylene-diene rubber (EPDM) is used in the outer layer to perform molding. A stabilizer comprising amines or a mixture of thioethers and hindered phenols is preferably added as a stabilizer to the olefin thermoplastic elastomer forming the inner layer. The amount of added stabilizer is set to 1 to 5 wt%. Moreover, the hardness of the olefin thermoplastic elastomer is preferably set to 60 to 90 in JIS A hardness.

  • Patent number: 5808495
Abstract: According to the present invention, to drive a magnetron, a pulse voltage is applied to the gate electrode of a field effect transistor to make the field effect transistor conductive, so that a voltage stored in a storage condenser is discharged through the primary winding of a pulse transformer and the drain electrode-the source electrode of the field effect transistor. This discharge causes the voltage generated at the primary winding of the pulse transformer to be induced at the secondary winding of the pulse transformer. Thus, the magnetron connected to the secondary winding of the pulse transformer is driven.

  • Patent number: 4481053
Abstract: An improved process and apparatus for splicing a new web to a running web are proposed. The old web is cut off just behind the spliced point. Therefore, no tail is left on the web spliced. The running web is nipped at two points between two pairs of rolls. Because it is tight between the two points, a clear cut is possible with a single cutting blade.
