  • Publication number: 20140210230
Abstract: To provide an opening/closing body structure for a vehicle that can improve the fitting performance of an opening/closing body for a vehicle. A lock reinforcement is fixed to a lock mechanism mounting portion at a door inner panel. A pair of left and right hinge reinforcements are fixed to regions from left and right upper end portions to lower portions at vehicle transverse direction outer side end portions at an outer peripheral portion of the door inner panel. At wires, whose mounting portions at one end sides thereof are fixed to the lock reinforcement, mounting portions at other end sides are fixed to vertical direction intermediate portions of the hinge reinforcements, and the wires are tensed rectilinearly.

  • Publication number: 20140167446
Abstract: To obtain a vehicle rear door structure that can improve a fitting performance of a rear door. A pair of connecting beads, that connect a lock mechanism placement portion with regions positioned at vehicle transverse direction outer sides with respect to a lateral bead, are formed at a rear door inner panel. Upper end portions of the connecting beads are disposed at positions apart from the lateral bead and are connected to an annular bead, and have outer side wall portions and inner side wall portions, that stand erect in a door thickness direction of a rear door. The outer side wall portions and the inner side wall portions both extend in a direction orthogonal to an extension line of the lateral bead as seen in a door elevation view. Further, the outer side wall portions are made integral with an inner peripheral wall portion of the annular bead.

  • Patent number: 8746777
Abstract: At a back door structure, a back door, that is rotatably supported at a rear roof header via a pair of door hinges, rotates around hinge shafts and opens and closes a rear opening portion. The back door is held in a fully open posture that opens the rear opening portion, by a single damper that is provided only at a right side with respect to the rear opening portion. In the back door structure, a fit posture of the back door is corrected due to a vertical position of a mounting surface of the door hinge at the right side being set at an upper side with respect to a mounting surface of the door hinge at a left side in a state of not supporting the back door.

  • Publication number: 20140041306
Abstract: Deformation of a trunk door is suppressed with a simple structure. A lateral bead is formed along a ridgeline region that is formed by an inner upper wall portion and an inner rear wall portion of an inner panel of the trunk door. The lateral bead is not connected to a ring bead formed at an outer periphery of the inner panel. Thus, stiffness of the ridgeline region may be suppressed compared with a case in which the lateral bead is connected to the ring bead. Thus, substantial V-form folding of an outer upper wall portion and an outer rear wall portion may be suppressed.

  • Publication number: 20120067980
Abstract: A nozzle unit for applying damping material onto a work piece includes a nozzle that has a slit-like discharge port and that discharges the damping material from the discharge port; a motor that is fixed to the nozzle; and a slit width changing device that changes the slit width of the discharge port using rotation of the motor.

  • Publication number: 20110259545
Abstract: A coolant circulation circuit includes a pipe through which a liquid coolant cooling an object to be cooled circulates, and a heat exchanger cooling the coolant. The pipe has an inner circumferential surface provided with a plurality of bubble trapping regions capable of trapping bubbles and placed at a distance from each other in the circumferential direction and the axial direction of the pipe, such that air within the pipe can be divided and trapped in the plurality of bubble trapping regions.

  • Patent number: 7984943
Abstract: A vehicular hood structure, which can generate more properly a load reaction to be inputted to a collision member, even if the collision member collides against the vicinity of an intermediate position between a hood general portion and a portion close to a hood front end edge so that a load acts to deform a hood inner panel of the hood general portion and a hood lock reinforce of a hood front end portion. A rear end portion of the hood lock reinforce is joined, at a leg extending to the hood back side at a portion spaced at a predetermined distance in the hood width direction, to a flat portion of the hood inner panel. In this hood inner panel, a crush bead is formed along the hood width direction at the substantially central portion of a skeleton portion in the hood length direction, and a small bead is formed at the substantially central portion of the flat portion in the hood width direction.

  • Patent number: 7884704
Abstract: A body structure of a vehicle reliably detects, with a side-collision detection sensor disposed on a pillar, a side-collision of a side door of a vehicle body against a pole and particularly a side-collision against a pole in a diagonal direction. A metal bracket that projects toward a vehicle width direction outer side is disposed on an outer side surface in a predetermined position (substantially intermediate position between a front pillar and a center pillar) of a rocker. By setting this metal bracket on the outer side of the rocker, in addition to an impact beam disposed inside a door, an acceleration (sensor G) transmitted to the side-collision detection sensor disposed inside the center pillar increases during a side-collision against a pole in a diagonal direction, so the side-collision state can be reliably and rapidly detected even at a position distant from the center pillar.
