    Abstract: There is prepared a polyester sheet having a surface layer in which 0.05 to 2.0% by weight of an ester compound, which is synthesized by using a polyvalent organic acid having three or more carboxyl groups and an aliphatic monohydric alcohol having eight or more carbon atoms, and 0.01 to 0.5% by weight of inert inorganic particles having an average particle diameter of 2 to 15 ?m, are blended into a polyethylene terephthalate-based polymer. Accordingly, the polyester sheet has a rational balance between sliding properties and transparency.
