Publication number: 20060262344Abstract: An image forming system includes an image producing apparatus that produces image data and an image forming apparatus that prints the image data. The image producing apparatus produces the image data, and detects from the image data usage information indicative of an amount of consumable required for printing the image data. Then, the image producing apparatus sends the usage information to the image forming apparatus. The image forming apparatus adds the usage information to an accumulated amount of consumable to update the accumulated amount of consumable. When the accumulated amount of consumable exceeds a threshold, the image forming apparatus sends to the image producing apparatus setting information that specifies the settings of the image producing apparatus such that an image is formed without an accumulated amount consumable exceeding an upper limit. The image producing apparatus performs its setting based on the setting information.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 12, 2006Publication date: November 23, 2006Applicant: Oki Data CorporationInventor: Yoshihiro Matsuda

Patent number: 7067091Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a treatment agent superior in harm-removing performance to metal hydride containing exhaust gas, and its production method as well as a treatment method. It is a mixture of either copper hydroxide or basic copper carbonate and silicon compound or a mixture, wherein parts of said copper compound and said silicon compound form a complex. A preparation of the treatment agent is made by a precipitation method, wherein a copper salts solution serves as a precipitation mother solution, and a mixture solution of either alkali hydroxide or alkali carbonate and alkali silicate serves as a precipitating agent. A treatment agent obtained as its result shows a high harm-removing performance to the metal hydride gas and a low heat generation, for which reason the agent is useful for treatment of the metal hydride containing exhaust gas generated in semiconductor manufacturing.Type: GrantFiled: June 28, 2001Date of Patent: June 27, 2006Assignee: Sued-Chemie Catalysts Japan Inc.Inventors: Satoshi Teshigawara, Minoru Takachi, Yoshihiro Matsuda, Hidetaka Shibano, Yoshiyuki Tomiyama

Publication number: 20050179932Abstract: In an image forming apparatus, an inconvenient image expressing format in which it is possible to presume that it occurs in a reconstructed image is predicted and set as a format to be excluded, and this format is transmitted to the image forming apparatus. A feature of a print format is extracted from print data in accordance with the format to be excluded and compared therewith. If they differ, printing of the print data is started. If they coincide, re-editing of the image is requested to an image processing apparatus. Upon previewing, an amount of data which is returned to the image processing apparatus from the image forming apparatus can be reduced.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 1, 2005Publication date: August 18, 2005Inventor: Yoshihiro Matsuda

Patent number: 4733226Abstract: A detector for use in a mail sorter is positioned along a path over which articles (letters, postcards, etc.) travel while in an upright position. A problem with such paths is that sometimes articles are overlapped, and sometimes small articles are hidden behind large articles. The invention detects such overlaps by (1) detecting height changes of any single article which trips a detector only once, and (2) forcibly displacing one article relative to the other of two overlapped articles. The change of length resulting from the forced displacement is detected.Type: GrantFiled: January 7, 1987Date of Patent: March 22, 1988Assignee: NEC CorporationInventors: Shigenobu Kasuya, Yoshihiro Matsuda, Tetsuo Umeda

Patent number: 4520932Abstract: A mail processing apparatus feeds mail articles one by one, along a transport path. A stamp detecting device is disposed along the path to detect a stamp on the mail article. The stamp detecting device includes a light source for radiating ultraviolet light towards both sides of the mail article in the transport path, and converters for converting the luminescences excited by the ultraviolet light on both sides of the mail article. Two signal levels are detected and compared for determining where the stamp is located. This way, a stamp does not appear to be on both sides of a very thin article.Type: GrantFiled: January 31, 1983Date of Patent: June 4, 1985Assignee: Nippon Electric Co., Ltd.Inventors: Yoshihiro Matsuda, Hiroshi Kimishima, Yoshikazu Kado
