  • Patent number: 10927363
Abstract: Alginate lyase activity is exhibited by the amino acid sequences (polypeptides) shown in SEQ ID No:1 and SEQ ID No:2. These polypeptides and their homology equivalents are used to produce 4-deoxy-L-erythro-5-hexoseulose uronic acid (DEH) by contacting the polypeptide(s) with an alginate containing a uronic acid moiety and holding the mixture of the alginate and the polypeptide(s) at a temperature at which alginate lyase activity is exhibited.

  • Patent number: 7866930
Abstract: In a bolt of the present invention, a guide portion having a small diameter is formed at the distal end of a shaft portion and ridge having an inverted direction screw configuration relative to the ridge formed on a constant diameter portion is formed. When the bolt is inserted obliquely into a nut and the ridge gets into engagement with a female screw portion of the nut, an effect of floating the bolt is generated, and the bolt cannot be driven into the nut unless it is set in an appropriate tightening posture. Consequently, biting and seizing of the bolt to the nut can be prevented securely. If the ridge is formed into a double threaded screw having an inverted direction screw configuration, the effect can be further intensified.

Abstract: In a bolt of the present invention, a guide portion (116) having a small diameter is formed at the distal end of a shaft portion (15) and ridge (31) having an inverted direction screw configuration relative to the ridge (30) formed on a constant diameter portion (115) is formed. When the bolt (1) is inserted obliquely into a nut (100) and the ridge (31) gets into engagement with a female screw portion (105) of the nut (100), an effect of floating the bolt (1) is generated, and the bolt 1 cannot be driven into the nut 100 unless it is set in an appropriate tightening posture. Consequently, biting and seizing of the bolt 1 to the nut can be prevented securely. • Patent number: 5831389
Abstract: A method and apparatus for controlling an au room lamp are provided, in which the room lamp is lit up when the ignition key is extracted from the ignition switch with an automotive door being closed, to thereby provide convenience for the driver and the passengers to get out of a car. A control unit (1) detects the on/off states of the ignition switch (2), a door switch (3) and an ignition key insertion/extraction detecting switch (4). If it is judged that the ignition key is extracted from the ignition switch with the door closed, the control unit turns on the room lamp (5) at a second luminance which is lower than a first luminance provided when the room lamp is on with the door being open, keeps the luminance of the room lamp for a predetermined time, and then turns off the room lamp.

  • Patent number: 5672946
Abstract: This invention relates to a control system and method for a vehicle speed-response type intermittent wiper. An operation time interval for the wiper, which serves to wipe a window of a vehicle, is set in accordance with a speed of the vehicle to drive the wiper at the operation time interval. Upon detection of a start of the vehicle from a stopped state, the wiper is driven in temporary precedence of the wiper operation time interval so that driving of the wiper can be adequately controlled to ensure the provision of a sufficient area of vision without driving the wiper beyond necessity.
