  • Patent number: 5973056
Abstract: The present invention provides a hot melt adhesive composition comprising an epoxy-modified block copolymer obtained by epoxidizing a carbon-carbon double bond of a conjugate diene component in a block copolymer having a polymer block (A) comprising mainly a vinyl aromatic compound and a polymer block (B) comprising mainly a conjugate diene compound in one molecule, a paraffin wax having a melting point of 40 to 100.degree. C., a tackifier and an antioxidant. The hot melt adhesive composition of the present invention is well compatible with a paraffin wax and a tackifier because it has an epoxy group which is a polar group in a molecule. Further, the hot melt adhesive composition has excellent heat resistance and cold resistance because of a combination of the epoxy-modified bloc copolymer as a base polymer with paraffin wax, and while the melt viscosity is low, the heat resistance is high.

  • Patent number: 5460216
Abstract: A pair of links hangingly support a bearing plate that secures a winding shaft of a shutter curtain. The links are arranged so that the dimension of the space accommodating the links can be minimized. A first link pivots at one end to an end of the bearing plate, adjacent to a shutter guide, and swings at the base end to a side wall of the shutter case so as to project upward away from the shutter guide. A second link pivots at one end to the other end of the bearing plate, away from the shutter guide, and swings at the base end to a portion of the side wall of the shutter case so that the second link extends under the winding shaft toward the shutter guide to bypass the winding shaft. Thus, both the first and second links can be accommodated within the diameter of the winding wheel.

  • Patent number: 5182448
Abstract: A light receiving section of a photocoupler according to the present invention has, for example, a light receiving element, a converting circuit, an oscillator, an updown (U/D) counter, a decoder and a clock signal supply control circuit, and those devices are monolithically integrated therein. When the light receiving element receives light from a light generating section, an output of the converting circuit becomes High. At this time, an output of the decoder is delayed until the U/D counter has counted up to the preset number a clock signal supplied by the clock signal supply control circuit. On the other hand, upon having Low of the output of the converting circuit, the output of the decoder is delayed until the U/D counter has counted down to "0" the clock signal supplied by the clock signal supply control circuit.

  • Patent number: 4588290
Abstract: The present invention relates to an original holding plate hinging mechanism for a copying machine, a printing machine or the like. When a thick solid original, such as a book, needs to be covered with an original holding plate, the pivotal point of the original holding plate is raised so that the original holding plate is placed practically horizontally on the thick solid original when closed. The original holding plate hinging mechanism comprises a supporting member attached rotatably to a member of the copying machine, an original holding plate joined at the rear end thereof to the free end of the supporting member so as to turn relatively to the supporting member, and a resilient means interlocked with both a member of the copying machine and the supporting member to control the torque for turning the supporting member.
