  • Patent number: 8818014
Abstract: A sound production component that includes a vibration element, a support member, and a connection part. The vibration element includes a polygonal vibration plate and an electromechanical conversion element attached to the vibration plate. The connection part connects an entire periphery of the vibration plate to the support member. At least a portion of the connection part has a curved shape. The length of a portion of the connection part which connects each corner of the vibration plate and the support member is shorter than the length of a portion of the connection part which connects a central portion of each side edge of the vibration plate and the support member.

  • Patent number: 7586241
Abstract: An electroacoustic transducer having one end portion of a first piezoelectric element and one end portion of a second piezoelectric element fixed to a frame such that the first piezoelectric element and the second piezoelectric element are supported by the frame in an opening of the frame in the cantilever manner. A flexible thin film is bonded to the frame and the first and second piezoelectric elements so that it covers at least a gap between each of the piezoelectric elements and the frame. The other end portions of the piezoelectric elements are free end portions, and face each other with a gap therebetween.

  • Publication number: 20070191106
Abstract: When players play car race by means of game machines, for example, a first machine game operates the object by an accelerator, brake, steering wheel and shift lever, calculates a prediction position the object reaches after a predetermined time from the current time, and transmits the prediction position to a second game machine as a position information. The time td is a time for transferring information through the network from the first game machine to the second game machine, that is, a delay time due to the communication. Similarly, other game machines can transmit the position information. Therefore, low process speed of a game is prevented due to communication load, with maintaining game quality.

  • Patent number: 6371850
Abstract: A plurality of video game units are connected in a ring configuration by means of a communications line. Each of the plurality of video game units comprises: a memory for storing a program for implementing competitive games, whereby a contest is conducted on a display screen by controlling the actions of two characters; control means for controlling the implementation of the program stored in the memory; input means for inputting first data controlling the actions of one of the two characters; and a communications interface circuit for receiving second data controlling the actions of the other of the two characters from one video game unit of a plurality of video game units, and transmitting the first data input via the input means to the one video game unit. The control means controls the display of the two characters on the display screens on the basis of the first data and the second data in accordance with the implementation of said program.
