  • Patent number: 11943410
Abstract: Setting conditions related to reading of an image of a document are registered in association with a user according to input by a user. When a user is identified, the priority order is determined so that a setting condition corresponding to the identified user is prioritized over a setting condition not corresponding to the user among the registered setting conditions, and the setting condition information indicating the setting conditions in the determined priority is displayed. The image is read under the setting condition based on the setting condition information selected according to the input by the user of the setting condition information indicating the displayed setting conditions.

  • Patent number: 11054892
Abstract: An information processing apparatus includes a first power source generation unit configured to generate a first voltage lower than a predetermined supply voltage based on at least power supplied from a battery, from a supply voltage power source of the predetermined supply voltage, and output the first voltage as a first voltage power source; a second power source generation unit configured to generate a second voltage lower than the first voltage and used when at least a system is activated, and output the second voltage as a second voltage power source; and a power source switching unit configured to switch the supply voltage power source with the first voltage power source to supply the first voltage power source to the second power source generation unit, and cause the second power source generation unit to generate the second voltage power source from the first voltage power source.

  • Patent number: 9874912
Abstract: An energization range of a laptop PC is controlled for safety component replacement. An EC can communicate with a battery unit to control a FET of the battery unit. In a power-off state, a PWC receives electricity from the battery unit or an AC/DC adapter. In the power-off state, a system of the EC stops. When a housing cover of the laptop PC is opened, a cover switch turns ON. When a logic circuit detects the operation of the cover switch, the PWC controls a DC/DC converter group to activate the system. The EC receiving electricity turns the FET OFF. Then the PWC turns the FET OFF.

  • Patent number: 5727327
Abstract: A centering apparatus and method is provided which automatically measuring the radius or radius deviation of a large cylindrical bore, and shorten the time required for centering. The inspection apparatus is supported on a rise and fall base which is horizontally supported on a top portion of the large cylindrical bore in such a manner that it is allowed to vertically move in parallel with a fine wire which is hung perpendicularly from the center of the top portion. The inspection apparatus having a non-contact type two-dimensional position sensor for detecting the relative position of the fine wire to the cent-er of the inspection apparatus. The inspection apparatus is positioned at an arbitrary height.
