    Abstract: An electronic device information read/write mechanism includes an RF tag attached to a metal frame at the upper portion of a liquid crystal display panel packed in a packaging box. The RF tag stores the internal information concerning the liquid crystal display panel. The packaging box is partially opened to expose the RF tag to the outside, and then an external reader/writer is moved close to the RF tag, and therefore the external reader/writer reads or writes the internal information stored in the RF tag without powering on the liquid crystal display panel.

The display device further includes: a wiring line which is provided along the surface of the chassis; and a clamper which fixes the wiring line to the chassis. The clamper includes a clamp section pressing the wiring line, and leg portions fixed to the chassis. The chassis includes a recessed section at a position where the clamper is fixed. The recessed section is indented towards a side of the control board and accommodating the wiring line.

    Abstract: A display device includes a display device a display panel (e.g. a blackboard or a whiteboard) juxtaposed in a frame. The rear face of the display device is covered by a cover having a height and a planar part. It is possible to selectively attach a reversible I/O unit and a reversible option slot unit to either the right side end or the left side end in the planar part of the rear face of the display device in such a way that input/output terminals are directed to the exterior of the display device. Additionally, an air outlet and an air inlet are formed in the surface of the option slot unit opposite to the rear face joining the planar part of the rear face of the display, thus securing air ventilation. The display device having user friendliness can be easily manufactured using standardized parts with a low manufacturing cost.

    Abstract: Different board-type devices can be selectably attached to a device attachment slot of a display apparatus. A first board-type device has a depth corresponding to the device main body thereof. A first female connector of the first board-type device inserted to the device attachment slot is connected to a first male connector of the apparatus. In a second board-type device having a shape different from the first board-type device, the device main body thereof is connected to a connector via two adaptor boards having a step therebetween. Accordingly, in the second board-type device, even the device main body, which has a smaller depth than the chassis whose depth coincides with that of the first board-type device, and can be selectably attached to the device attachment slot with respect to the first board-type.
