Publication number: 20120291134Abstract: At the first data access by a navigation unit to a recording medium that records updating right information necessary for updating map data in a rewritable data area in which map data are recorded, the updating right information is read from the data area and is deleted from the data area, and a map updating due date created based on the read updating right information is written in a memory of the navigation unit together with the medium identification information read from a non-rewritable management area.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 7, 2011Publication date: November 15, 2012Applicant: AISIN AW CO., LTD.Inventors: Hiroyoshi Masuda, Kensuke Takeuchi, Norihisa Fujikawa, Koichi Iwatsuki, Yoshihiro Tanabe

Publication number: 20120211982Abstract: If blades have been struck by wind that has reached a power reduction start wind speed that is lower than a conventional cut-out wind speed at which torque acting on a main shaft reaches the torque limit, a wind turbine generator performs torque reduction control for causing the change in the torque when wind speed is higher than the power reduction start wind speed to be different from change in the torque when wind speed is lower than the power reduction start wind speed so as to prevent the torque from exceeding the torque limit at the conventional cut-out wind speed. For example, if the wind striking the blades reaches the power reduction start wind speed, the wind turbine generator sets the slope of change in torque lower than that before the power reduction start wind speed is reached. Accordingly, the wind turbine generator can reduce the load acting on a device and suppress a reduction in power even if the blades are struck by strong wind.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 27, 2011Publication date: August 23, 2012Applicant: MITSUBISHI HEAVY INDUSTRIES, LTD.Inventors: Yoshihiro TANABE, Tomohiro NUMAJIRI

Patent number: 7205776Abstract: Whether a human body is touching or not is detected highly accurately at high speed. Switch SW1 is turned on to charge condenser Ca by power supply Vcc. The switch SW1 is turned off to transfer the electric charge charged in the condenser Ca to condensers Cs and Cx. The switches SW2 and SW3 are repeatedly turned on and off for a predetermined short time, and thus the electric charge charged in the condenser Ca is slowly discharged through resistor R. The unknown charging voltage Vx of the condenser Cx is compared with the reference voltage Vref by comparator Comp, and the unknown capacitance of the condenser Cx is computed based on the number of times to count turning on and off until it is smaller than the reference voltage Vref. When the computed unknown capacitance of the condenser Cx is the value near the capacitance of a human body, it is determined that a human body is touching. The invention can be applied to a touch sensor.Type: GrantFiled: September 7, 2005Date of Patent: April 17, 2007Assignee: Omron CorporationInventors: Masahiro Kinoshita, Hideyuki Urata, Hideshi Tsugui, Yoshihiro Tanabe
