  • Patent number: 7542551
Abstract: A cordless telephone handset that does not affect the use of a magnetic pick-up type hearing aid. The cordless telephone handset includes a TDD processing section for controlling transmission and reception by means of TDD communications, and a suppressing device for suppressing variations in the magnetic field generated by the TDD processing section. By suppressing variations in the magnetic field generated by the TDD processing section, the problem of magnetic field variations being picked up by a magnetic pick-up type hearing aid and being output as noise, is overcome.

  • Publication number: 20050254637
Abstract: A call request control device, which in an offhook state, upon detecting a key input, checks the type of the key that was input. When the input key is a transmission/redial key, a determination is made of whether dial data is stored in the dial buffer. If dial data is stored in the dial buffer, then the dial data is set as a call destination number, and a call request message is sent. If dial data is not stored, then redial data is set as the call destination number, and a call request message is sent. Telephone sets incorporating such call request control device have enhanced functionality without corresponding increase in the number of keys.

  • Patent number: 6076052
Abstract: In an flash memory which is an IC memory, a playback time proportional to a period of time when a rewind key is continuously pressed down, or a playback time proportional to a period of time when the rewind key is continuously pressed down while time-stamp information is played back, and a message is read out and played back from a message address at a destination for playback corresponding to the playback time. With this feature, a message address at a destination for playback can be changed according to a period of playback time corresponding to a period of time when the rewind key is continuously pressed down.

  • Patent number: 5768345
Abstract: Plurality of radio channels include a first radio channel group having channel(s) permitted to be used only when the radio channels are not being used by other device, a second radio channel group available for communication regardless of whether the radio channels are being used by other device, a base unit and/or a handset unit therein comprises a first memory unit for storing radio channels in first and second radio channel groups, a determining unit for determining whether a specified radio channel is busy, a control unit for specifying a radio channel in the first radio channel group prior to start of call and determining whether the radio channel is busy, selecting the radio channel if not busy, and otherwise one radio channel from the second radio channel group.
