    Abstract: A control device turns on a system relay and relays. A first boost converter rectifies an AC voltage supplied through a connector and a first power supply line. Further, the boost converter responds to a signal from the control device to boost the rectified voltage, and outputs the boosted voltage to a second power supply line. A second boost converter receives a voltage from the second power supply line to convert the voltage in accordance with a signal from the control device for output to a third power supply line. Since the system relay and one relay are both turned on, first and second batteries are connected in parallel to the third power supply line and a ground line. The first and second batteries are thereby charged.

When a user designates a nonlinear characteristic on the GUI image by an input device 70, the personal computer 72 extracts a break point approximation function indicating the nonlinear characteristic and displays the same in the GUI image. Further, the personal computer 72 generates a program for executing nonlinear processing indicated by the extracted break point approximation function by a linear array type multiple parallel processor (DSP 80) and downloads the generated program to the DSP 80.

    Abstract: A porous iron system metal bond diamond grinder using diamond as grinding particles and iron system metal powder as binder so as to have a large number of pores in the binder. The grinding particles are chemically and physically combined with the iron system metal to be held. The occupancy rate of pores in the whole grinder is 5 to 60%. The iron system metal is selected from a group composed of mixtures of iron powder, carbon-coated iron powder, iron nitride powder, carbon and iron. Carbon of diamond constituting the grinding particles is reacted to the iron system metal in the surface. In the manufacturing method, grinding particles and binder are mixed and molded into a predetermined shape and the molded product is then heated and sintered at 900.degree. to 1150.degree. C. The occupancy rate of pores and/or the concentration gradient of diamond are adjusted. The porous iron system metal bond diamond grinder capable of performing grinding continuously for a long time without loading can be provided.

Also, a series of bit lines are sequentially selected by a counter. The data stored in the memory cells bridging the memory cell columns for the two lines can be read out only once by supplying an address signal only one time.
