Abstract: A torque limiter disposed between first and second rotating members includes a first transmitting member that rotates integrally with one of the first and second rotating members and includes a pair of first annular tapered surfaces inclined in opposite directions to each other in an extending direction of a rotational axis, a second transmitting member that rotates integrally with the other of the first and second rotating members and includes a second annular tapered surface capable of contacting one of the first annular tapered surfaces, a third transmitting member that includes a third annular tapered surface capable of contacting the other of the first annular tapered surfaces, and a tightening mechanism that tightens the second and third transmitting members such that the second annular tapered surface contacts one of the first annular tapered surfaces and the third annular tapered surface contacts the other of the first annular tapered surfaces.
