Patent number: 10288097Abstract: A fiber-reinforced resin member is provided in which a non-conductive sleeve and first and second non-conductive sheets are disposed between a metal fastening member and CFRP laminate, electrical continuity between the metal fastening member and the CFRP laminate is cut off, and corrosion of the metal fastening member due to galvanic corrosion is prevented. A first annular space is formed between a first flange portion of a first member and the first non-conductive sheet, a second annular space is formed between a second flange portion of a second member and the second non-conductive sheet. Therefore, even if frayed carbon fiber sticks out from a gap between the non-conductive sleeve and the first and second non-conductive sheets, due to the first and second annular spaces being formed therein, it is possible to prevent the sticking-out carbon fiber from contacting the first and second members and providing electrical continuity.Type: GrantFiled: May 12, 2015Date of Patent: May 14, 2019Assignee: Honda Motor Co., Ltd.Inventors: Shotaro Ayuzawa, Yoshikatsu Ohta

Patent number: 8882184Abstract: A structure for a front portion of an automobile body includes a bulkhead side, which is joined to a front portion of a front side frame extending in the fore-and-aft direction extends in the vertical direction, and a side frame gusset, which provides a connection between the front portions of the front side frame and a wheel house upper member. The bulkhead side and the side frame gusset are joined by a linking panel having a right-angled triangle shape when viewed from the front within a plane perpendicular to an axis in the fore-and-aft direction. When a load is applied for relatively moving the front side frame, the side frame gusset and the wheel house upper member supporting the load by a shear force of the linking panel disposed within the plane enhance the rigidity of a front portion of a vehicle body and minimize any increase in weight.Type: GrantFiled: January 27, 2012Date of Patent: November 11, 2014Assignee: Honda Motor Co., Ltd.Inventors: Tadashi Naito, Yutaka Kanaguchi, Yoshikatsu Ohta, Youichirou Suzuki

Patent number: 6342795Abstract: Disclosed is a control circuit of a simplified circuit configuration and control while power consumed by the continuous supply of a clock signal to a functional block which is in an inoperative status is reduced. A functional block supplies a status detection signal indicative of an operative status or an inoperative status to a clock control unit. When the status detection signal indicates the operative status, the clock control unit supplies a clock signal to thereby operate the functional block. When the status detection signal indicates the inoperative status, the clock control unit stops the supply of the clock signal to thereby stop the functional block.Type: GrantFiled: June 1, 2000Date of Patent: January 29, 2002Assignee: Alps Electric Co., Ltd.Inventor: Yoshikatsu Ohta
