  • Publication number: 20090195701
Abstract: A noise canceller of this invention includes a pickup antenna arranged in proximity to a noise signal generation source to extract a noise signal generated by the noise signal generation source, and a noise cancellation unit having a first input for receiving a television signal from a television signal receiving antenna and a second input for receiving the noise signal extracted by the pickup antenna. Herein, the noise cancellation unit removes a noise signal fed from the television signal receiving antenna. Thus, the noise canceller prevents degradation in television signal reception sensitivity due to the noise signal generated by the noise signal generation source.

  • Patent number: 7243490
Abstract: A 4-cycle engine for a motorcycle has a secondary-air supplier for supplying secondary air to exhaust ducts. The engine includes a recess, which is depressed toward the engine, on a cylinder-head cover for holding a control valve of the secondary-air supplier. The recess and the control valve are positioned between two innermost cylinders of the array of the cylinders. Check valves, which are connected to downstream regions of the control valve, are each disposed between two outermost cylinders of the array of the cylinders.

  • Patent number: 7205951
Abstract: A multibeam primary radiator apparatus (2) includes first, second and third primary horns (16, 18, 20). The first primary horn (16) has a generally circular proximal end aperture (22) at its proximal end, and a generally circular distal end aperture (24) at its distal end, which is larger than the proximal end aperture (22). The second and third primary horns (18, 20) have generally circular proximal end apertures (26, 28) at their proximal ends, and larger distal end apertures (30, 32) at their distal ends. The first through third primary horns are disposed with the center axes of the respective proximal end apertures being substantially in parallel with each other. The distance between the center axis of the first primary horn (16) and each of the second and third primary horns (18, 20) is smaller than the diameter of the proximal end aperture (22) of the first primary horn (16).

  • Patent number: 6181289
Abstract: A multibeam antenna reflector having a reflection surface expressed by a combination of at least first and second corrected surface functions which are individually corrected so that they can have a large beam deviation angle. The respective corrected surface functions are combined together by being weighted and averaged with each other.

  • Patent number: 5063396
Abstract: A device for splashing liquid in the form of droplets from a piezo electric material with cuts on the surface thereof. Electrodes are formed on the surface to apply an AC voltage thereto. The voltage input is pulsed. The pulsed voltage causes a Rayleigh mode wave to propagate along the surface. Liquid also propagates along the surface, and the wave causes some of the liquid to splash off the surface as droplets.
