Publication number: 20220244572Abstract: An eyeglass lens (1) includes a polarizing part (10) and a non-polarizing part (20). The polarizing part (10) includes a base part (11) and a polarizing sheet (12). The non-polarizing part (20) is adjacent to the polarizing part (10). The polarizing sheet (12) is in face contact with the base part (11) in a non-separable manner. The non-polarizing part (20) has a thickness (W1) greater than a thickness (W2) of the base part (11). The base part (11) and the non-polarizing part (20) form a light transmitting member (2) that is a single solid member. The light transmitting member (2) is made of a colored resin.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 29, 2020Publication date: August 4, 2022Applicants: MIYOSHI INDUSTRIAL ENTERPRISE INC., SUN-RAY CORPORATIONInventors: Kazuyuki MIYOSHI, Yoshikazu MUNAKATA

Patent number: 9891449Abstract: This invention provides a clip-on member 1 includes a lens mounting rod 2 to which clip-on lenses are mounted, and a pair of upper clipping arms 4 and another pair of lower clipping arms 5 made of elastic members for attachment to the eyeglass frame. The upper clipping arms 4 include an upper hooking part 4a and another upper hooking part 4b with which the upper clipping arms 4 are fitted and mounted to the brow part of the spectacle frame from above. The lower clipping arm 5 includes an arm part 7a, an arm part 7b, and a pinching part 8. The arm parts 7a and 7b have left engagement part Sa and right engagement part Sb respectively held by the holding parts 6a and 6b, and placed at the nasal area of the spectacle frame between its right and left lenses. The lower left and right hooking parts 7a and 7b, as an extension of the clipping arms 7aand 7b, exercise theft elastic force towards the opposite sides, thus moving away from each other.Type: GrantFiled: July 14, 2016Date of Patent: February 13, 2018Assignee: SUN-RAY CORPORATIONInventors: Yoshikazu Munakata, Chiharu Ishibe

Publication number: 20170017096Abstract: This invention provides a clip-on type eyeglasses that facilitate its attachment and detachment to and from an spectacle frame while making it possible to attach a mounting tool to the clip-on body and which do not touch the lenses of the eyeglass frame. For these purposes, a clip-on member 1 includes a lens mounting rod 2 to which clip-on lenses are mounted, and a pair of upper clipping arms 4 and another pair of lower clipping arms 5 made of elastic members for attachment to the eyeglass frame. The arm parts 7a and 7b have left engagement part 5a and right engagement part 5b respectively held by the holding parts 6a and 6b, and placed at the nasal area of the spectacle frame between its right and left lenses.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 14, 2016Publication date: January 19, 2017Inventors: Yoshikazu Munakata, Chiharu Ishibe

Publication number: 20090086161Abstract: This invention is to provide an inexpensive lens can be worn without attention to the existence of the addition power segment of conventional polarizing lens, it and a bench lens are formed integrally on the rear surface of a polarizing member 6. The present inventors constituent a polarizing member 9 by sandwiching poly vinyl alcohol 3 as a polarizing film with poly carbonate 2 whose both surfaces are stretched, and mold resin 2? on the rear side of the polarizing member, and arrange an addition power segment 8 integrally on the rear surface, make the molded resin poly carbonate sandwiches the polarizing film. The top and the bottom of this member are cut as FIGs. to form lens at low costs, and the adhesion among respective resins is increased, and to secure the impact resistance and it is possible to create a lens without detachment because of same resin.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 1, 2007Publication date: April 2, 2009Applicants: SUN-RAY Corporation, Sankoh Co., Ltd.Inventors: Yoshikazu Munakata, Kaoru Miyoshi

Patent number: 7063419Abstract: The present invention relates to a sunglass attachable to a pair of glasses at a later stage, which sunglass is reliably attached to the glasses and in which a sunglass plate is stably held at a flipped position, and also relates to an attachment fitting thereof. The attachment fitting includes a shaft strip, a base, a base contacting strip, an elastic body, and an elastic receiving strip. The base is rotatable with respect to the shaft strip, and the base contacting strip and the elastic receiving strip are fixed so as not to rotate with respect to the shaft strip. With the elastic force of the elastic body, the base contacting strip is pressed towards the base and the base contacting strip and the base are engaged, thus allowing the sunglass plate attached to ends of the shaft strip to be freely raised upwards and lowered downwards and to be freely stopped in stages.Type: GrantFiled: December 3, 2004Date of Patent: June 20, 2006Assignees: Sunray Corporation, Sasamata Co., Ltd.Inventors: Yoshikazu Munakata, Hiroyuki Kawabata

Patent number: 5800744Abstract: A method of producing a dioptric photochromic semi-finished lens, a diopter of which is to be imparted by grinding a concave surface of the semi-finished lens. Color concentration between a center portion and a peripheral portion is maintained at a fixed color concentration independent of the diopter of the lens and the lens is shockproof. In the method, after mixing a photochromic material with a thermoplastic polycarbonate resin to make a sheet, the sheet is processed to have a spherical surface sheet, set in a mold and thermoplastic polycarbonate resin is injected in the mold to be bonded with the sheet.Type: GrantFiled: August 13, 1996Date of Patent: September 1, 1998Inventor: Yoshikazu Munakata
