Abstract: An endoscope includes: a bending portion; a flexible tube portion provided on a proximal end side with respect to the bending portion; a plurality of bending wires inserted through the flexible tube portion and configured to bend the bending portion; a plurality of coil pipes through which the bending wires are respectively inserted; a connecting member provided on a distal end side of the flexible tube portion; and a coil pipe retaining member provided on a distal end side with respect to the connecting member, and including a plurality of holes for bending wires which respectively allow the bending wires to pass through, the coil pipe retaining member being configured to retain distal end portions of the plurality of coil pipes.

Abstract: An endoscope includes a rigid distal end portion provided in a distal end portion of an insertion section and configured by a flex, and an elastic cylindrical portion provided on a proximal end side of the rigid distal end portion of the insertion section. The elastic cylindrical portion does not bend according to an bending operation by an operation section, has a rigidity to bending higher than a rigidity to bending of a bending portion and lower than a rigidity to bending of a flexible tube portion, has a length that is equal to or longer than the bending portion along an axial direction of the insertion section, and is configured by a tightly wound coil that is not compressed in the axial direction of the insertion section.

Abstract: An endoscope apparatus is provided that includes a plurality of kinds of optical adapters that have an illuminating window and an observation window, and an endoscope insertion portion that has a distal end portion to which the plurality of kinds of optical adapters can be detachably attached. A fluid spout that ejects fluid at least at the observation window, and a fluid inlet whose arrangement position is common among the plurality of kinds of optical adapters and that is connected to and communicates with a fluid supply port for supplying the fluid that is arranged on a distal end face of the distal end portion are provided in the optical adapters. A fluid supply channel that causes the fluid inlet and the fluid spout to communicate and in which the fluid flows and the fluid spout are configured differently according to the kind of the optical adapter.
