Patent number: 8122461Abstract: An optical disc device is disclosed. In the optical disc device, a cam portion configured to include a holder that is supported on the outside of a cam member to turn and move vertically is provided in a position that is in vicinity of a tray being supported by elevator cam gears. In disc loading/ejecting operations, the cam portion is turned and a projecting portion pushes down a tray projecting portion of the tray, so that a space S if formed between the tray and the disc. Since the tray is shaped into a closed circular tray, a rigidity of the tray can be ensured and also the space used to avoid a contact between a projecting portion on a lower face of the disc and a surface of the tray can be provided by bending the tray.Type: GrantFiled: July 21, 2006Date of Patent: February 21, 2012Assignee: Panasonic CorporationInventors: Yoshikazu Ohmura, Tsukasa Nakayama

Publication number: 20110145845Abstract: A disk device, wherein a disk clamp unit is further thinned. The disk device is provided with a spindle motor (300) for positioning and rotating a disk, an alignment ring (301) fixed to the rotating shaft of the spindle motor, and a clamp section (400) for mounting the disk on the spindle motor (300). The alignment ring (301) is provided with a projection section (301C) formed around the rotating shaft of the spindle motor (300), and a magnet (302) provided around the rotating shaft with a space provided between the magnet (302) and the projection section (301C). The clamp section (400) is provided with a center member (401) having formed therein a recessed space (401G) in which the projection section (301C) is fitted, and also with a member (402) to be attracted which is attracted by the magnet (302).Type: ApplicationFiled: December 18, 2009Publication date: June 16, 2011Applicant: PANASONIC CORPORATIONInventors: Tetsuya Okubo, Kazuyuki Honda, Yoshikazu Ohmura, Kenji Urushihara, Tomomi Nishikata

Patent number: 7911893Abstract: A disc device capable of achieving a slimming down of a tilt adjusting portion is provided. A tilt adjusting member 404 of a tilt adjusting portion 400 moves an optical pickup driving portion 307 along a guide face 401a to adjust a light beam 303b emitted from an optical pickup 303 such that an optical axis 303c is set perpendicularly to a disc 200. Since the tilt adjusting member 404 is moved in a direction oblique to the guide face 401a and a direction perpendicular to the optical pickup driving portion 307, an amount of movement of the tilt adjusting member 404 can be reduced smaller than a necessary amount of tilt adjustment of the optical pickup driving portion 307 and also a slimming down of the tilt adjusting portion 400 can be achieved.Type: GrantFiled: October 16, 2007Date of Patent: March 22, 2011Assignee: Panasonic CorporationInventors: Kenji Urushihara, Yoshikazu Ohmura, Tetsuya Okubo, Hiroshi Saito

Publication number: 20100299685Abstract: A disc device capable of achieving a slimming down of a tilt adjusting portion is provided. A tilt adjusting portion 400, 500, or 600 is provided to adjust a light beam 303b emitted from an optical pickup 303 such that an optical axis 303c is set perpendicularly to a disc 200 loaded on a disc turning portion 302. As the tilt adjusting portion 400, 500, or 600, a turntable adjusting portion 600 for adjusting a tilt of the disc loading face of the disc turning portion 302, and an optical pickup adjusting portion 400 or 500 for adjusting a position of a frame 307 that holds an optical pickup driving portion 305 are provided. Therefore, a margin of adjustment in the adjusting portion can be reduced, the tilt adjusting portion 400, 500, 600 can be reduced in size, and a slimming down of a disc device 100 can be achieved.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 16, 2007Publication date: November 25, 2010Applicant: Panasonic CorporationInventors: Kenji Urushihara, Yoshikazu Ohmura, Tetsuya Okubo, Hiroshi Saito

Publication number: 20090254928Abstract: An optical disc device is capable of achieving a size reduction by ensuring a rigidity of a tray and also executing a stable disc transferring/ejecting operation by preventing such a situation that a projection on the recording face side of the disc is stuck. In an optical disc device, a cam portion configured to include a holder that is supported on the outside of a cam member to turn and move vertically is provided in a position that is in vicinity of a tray being supported by elevator cam gears. In disc loading/ejecting operations, the cam portion is turned and a projecting portion pushes down a tray projecting portion of the tray, so that a space S if formed between the tray and the disc. Publication number: 20090144760Abstract: An optical disc device capable of removing an optical disc not to damage an optical disc and an optical disc device even if two piled optical discs are inserted into the optical disc device is provided. Even if two piled optical discs 12 are pushed forcibly into the optical disc device, the insertion of two piled optical discs 12 can be prevented with the cooperation of the fixed guiding portion 41 and the thickness restricting member 43. Since the thickness restricting member is turned in the ejecting direction when two piled optical discs are pulled out, two piled optical discs 12 can be taken out easily not to damage the optical disc 12 and the optical disc device 10.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 21, 2006Publication date: June 4, 2009Applicant: Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd.Inventors: Yuji Yamaguchi, Minoru Oyokawa, Yoshikazu Ohmura
