  • Patent number: 6983695
Abstract: Color densities of patches included in a control strip are measured to perform printing control based on the color densities. The patches are arranged in the same direction as the arrangement of ink keys of a printing device. The patches include four typical patches of black, cyan, magenta, and yellow at area rates of 60 to 85% in the width of each ink key. The printing control is the control for keeping the color densities of the four typical patches of the width of each ink key in predetermined color-density ranges.

  • Patent number: 6842610
Abstract: A tuner includes an input terminal, first to fourth band-pass filters, an automatic gain controller, first to third amplifiers, first and second mixers, first and second voltage controlled oscillators, first and second PLL ICs, a reference oscillator circuit, and an output terminal. The second PLL IC and the reference oscillator circuit are connected through a capacitor and an amplifier. An amplifier for reference oscillation, included in the first PLL IC is connected to the reference oscillator circuit through an inductor that defines an inductance device.

  • Publication number: 20040016001
Abstract: A CATV tuner includes a tuner box including an input circuit, a first mixer circuit, a first oscillation circuit, a first IF circuit, a second mixer circuit, a second oscillation circuit, and a second IF circuit. The input circuit has an input terminal, an upstream-signal input terminal, and a bandpass filter provided therebetween. The input terminal is connected to a distributor via a high-pass filter. An output from one output end of the distributor is subjected to processing such as filtering, amplifying, and so forth, and transmitted to the first mixer circuit. The other output end of the distributor is connected to a downstream-signal output terminal via a low-pass filter and an amplifier.

  • Publication number: 20020162470
Abstract: Press profile production, color management and printed sheet systems and methods provide for a highly accurate press profile that is unaffected by in-plane irregularity in density due to the ink keys unique to a given press in a printing process in which color management is performed. Thus, more accurate color matching can be achieved between a first press and another press or other device, among other advantages. A press profile production system according to an embodiment of the invention provides a print layout with a profiling target disposed within the width of one ink key of the press.
