  • Patent number: 8872984
Abstract: Provided is an LTE-system mobile communication terminal in which a reduction in terminal size and a reduction in the number of components is desired when a terrestrial digital television broadcast is to be received. Two antennas from among terrestrial digital television broadcast receiving antennas are switched and controlled so as to also be used as transmitting/receiving antennas from LTE communication, and the reception diversity is switched to either a 2-system combination or 4-system combination in accordance with whether the television broadcast is in the VHF band or UHF band. As a result, the number of antennas for example can be reduced and the terminal costs and size can be reduced.

  • Patent number: 8615268
Abstract: A control unit 19 switches four antennas 111 to 114 at predetermined time intervals, receives signals from an LTE base station 2 using four receiving antennas 111 to 114, and receives signals from a GSM base station 3 using the four antennas 111 to 114. The control unit 19 determines the reception level in a cell 2c of the LTE base station 2 on the basis of signal strengths detected by a received signal detector 14p when signals are received from the LTE base station 2 using the four antennas 111 to 114. In addition, the control unit 19 determines the reception level in a cell 3c of the GSM base station 3 on the basis of four signal strengths detected by the received signal detector 14p when signals are received from the GSM base station 3 using the four antennas 111 to 114.

  • Patent number: 7805123
Abstract: A technique of frequency hopping communication capable of high-speed switching of a plurality of signals having ultra-wide band 528 MHz bandwidth at high-speed and setting and switching a band center frequency and the number of bands arbitrary is provided. A radio transceiver has a frequency hopping communication function of UWB system for switching the ultra wide band signal. In the device, high-speed frequency hopping is realized by controlling an SSB mixer in a local oscillator circuit and switching the frequency of a DDS. The device sets NCO data to the DDS and switches a quadrature phase signal of an output, and switches a signal input of an input terminal of the SSB mixer by a control of a phase switching switch. One of a sum component and a difference component of a mixture of first and second quadrature phase signals is outputted from the output terminal of the SSB mixer.

  • Patent number: 7280811
Abstract: A multimode wireless terminal suitable for received level monitoring for a base station serving as an intersystem handover destination includes a first wireless transmitter-receiver unit for GSM, a second wireless transmitter-receiver unit for WCDMA, and a communication processor unit and an antenna switch unit connected to these wireless transmitter-receiver units. While conducting communication with a WCDMA network system via the second wireless transmitter-receiver unit, a level of a signal received from a GSM base station is monitored via the first wireless transmitter-receiver unit. A communication processor unit determines whether the level monitoring is interfered with by a WCDMA transmission signal, on the basis of a relation between a WCDMA transmission frequency and a reception frequency supplied from the GSM base station.

  • Publication number: 20070077456
Abstract: A thermal spray coating includes yttrium oxide at least as a main component. When the thermal spray coating is exposed to CF4 plasma and the plasma power of the CF4 plasma per unit area applied onto the thermal spray coating is 0.8 W/cm2 or greater, an etching rate by the CF4 plasma of the thermal spray coating satisfies the equation Re?7.7×Pp2.2. Alternatively, when the plasma power of the CF4 plasma per unit area applied onto the thermal spray coating is less than 0.8 W/cm2, an etching rate by the CF4 plasma of the thermal spray coating satisfies the equation Re?8.0×Pp2.2. In the equations, “Re”, represents the etching rate (nm/minute) by the CF4 plasma of the thermal spray coating, and “Pp” represents the plasma power per unit area (W/cm2) applied onto the thermal spray coating.
