  • Patent number: 5887214
Abstract: The apparatus for coating a photosensitive material (M) with a processing liquid comprises an activator coating mechanism (43) for metering a constant amount of activator to apply the metered activator to the photosensitive surface of the photosensitive material fed by the pair of introduction rollers. The activator is supplied form a plurality of discharge holes (121) bored in a pipe (122) and is once received by a receiving portion (124). The activator is diffused horizontally and flows downwardly through a plurality of openings (123) bored at the bottom of the receiving portion onto a coating roller (125). The activator is diffused again at the contact between the coating roller and a diffusion film (126) and is coated to the photosensitive material by the coating roller.

  • Patent number: 5839011
Abstract: The apparatus for coating a lithographic printing plate or a photosensitive material (M) with a processing liquid comprises first and second pairs of feed rollers (41,42: 44,45) for feeding the photosensitive arterial along a predetermined path. A coating roller (125) is provided therebetween. Guide members (48, 49) contact the bottom surface of the photosensitive material and to guide the photosensitive material. The contacts of the guide members and the photosensitive material are at the levels higher than the coating level at which the processing liquid is applied to the photosensitive material to prevent uneven coating of the photosensitive material with the processing liquid after the trailing edge of the photosensitive material has passed the first pairs of the feed rollers (41,42).

  • Patent number: 5565070
Abstract: A method for recovering solvent vapor in a manner which requires less power using an apparatus which is smaller in size, has a longer life, and is capable of being operated without reducing recovering efficiency, including locating an inlet of a suction pipe at a position within the container between the liquid surface of the solvent and an upper edge of the container, wherein the opening of the suction pipe is open downward, and drawing the vapor from the upper surface of the solvent in the container.

  • Patent number: 4580471
Abstract: A motor-incorporated spindle head unit is provided with a rotatable spindle on which a rotor assembly of the drive motor is fixedly mounted. A stator assembly of the drive motor is arranged around the rotor assembly and is fixed to a housing of the spindle head unit. A heat insulating system for preventing heat transfer from the stator assembly of the drive motor to the spindle as well as the bearings supporting the spindle is arranged between the drive motor and the front part of the spindle. The heat insulating system uses the flow of air for forming a heat insulator during the operation of the spindle head unit. A cooling system for cooling the stator assembly of the drive motor is also incorporated in the housing of the spindle head unit.

  • Patent number: 4534686
Abstract: A motor-incorporated spindle head unit is provided with a rotatable spindle on which a rotor assembly of the motor is fixedly mounted. A stator assembly is arranged around the rotor assembly and is fixed to an outer framework of the spindle head unit in a cantilever fashion. A cooling system for cooling the stator assembly is formed by providing an annular gap between the outer framework and the periphery of the stator assembly and is adapted to permit cooling air introduced into the annular gap through air ports formed in an end of the outer framework to flow through at least a throughbore formed in the stator assembly.
