  • Patent number: 7090547
Abstract: Even in the case of a bar-like small terminal connection, its strength is retained. In (a), a strip (21) made, for example, of a thin metal sheet having a thickness of 0.2 mm and a predetermined width is collapsed by rolling to a thickness of 0.16 mm as in (b). Subsequently, as in (c), the longitudinal opposite sides (22, 23) of the strip (21) are erected with respect to the base plate (24), then inwardly bent, as in (d), and folded onto the base (24), as in (e). Further, the folded opposite sides (22, 23) are erected together with the base plate (24) into a closely contacted state, whereupon as in (f), the folded body is mechanically compressed from all sides into a form having a 0.64-mm square cross section.

  • Publication number: 20060174377
Abstract: The present invention provides an enzyme which catalyzes a reaction to transfer sugar to a hydroxyl group at position 2? of chalcones and a gene thereof, and preferably an enzyme which catalyzes a reaction to transfer glucose to a hydroxyl group at position 2? of the chalcones. Furthermore, the invention provides a plant whose flower color has been changed using the glycosyltransferase. Using probes corresponding to conservative regions of the glycosyltransferase, some tens of glycosyltransferase genes having nucleotide sequences corresponding to the conservative regions were cloned from flower petal cDNA libraries of carnation and the like. Furthermore, each of the glycosyltransferase genes was expressed in Escherichia coli, activity to transfer glucose to position 2? of the chalcone, i.e., the glycosyltransferase activity at position 2? of chalcone was confirmed in an extract solution of the Escherichia coli, and it was confirmed that cloned genes encoded the glycosyltransferase at position 2?.

  • Publication number: 20060163964
Abstract: In an axial air-gap electronic motor in which a teeth surface of a stator and a magnet surface of a rotor are arranged opposedly along the axis line direction of an output shaft of the rotor with a predetermined gap being provided therebetween, the stator has a plurality of core members connected in a ring form with the axis line being a center, and each of the core members is provided with a connecting means for connecting the teeth surfaces to each other in an opposed state. The present invention provides an assembling technique for an axial air-gap electronic motor capable of shortening the wire winding time and reducing the assembling manpower for the core members. A stator 2 is formed by connecting a plurality of core members 21a to 21i in a ring form with the axis line being a center, and locking ribs 54 and 55 are provided as connecting means for connecting the core members 21a to 21i to each other in a rod form along the axis line direction.

  • Publication number: 20060160433
Abstract: In an electrical connector assembly, housings are locked with each other by locking a rear holder provided in a first connector with a cooperating second connector. In a rear holder main body 52 of a rear holder 51 there are formed a plurality of resilient clamping lances 53 which clamp connection terminals 67 inserted into respective terminal receiving holes 62 formed in a housing main body 61. At a middle upper portion of the rear holder 51 there is provided a resilient locking arm 54, and a locking claw 55 is formed on the locking arm. When the housing main body 61 is inserted into a housing main body 71 of a cooperating connector, connection terminals 67 and 72 are coupled with each other. The locking claw 55 provided on the locking arm 54 of the rear holder 51 is engaged with a locking portion 73 of the housing main body 71 of the cooperating second connector.

  • Publication number: 20060141862
Abstract: Upon releasing a locking arm from a connecting terminal by inserting a jig through a front holder, the jig could not be erroneously inserted into a terminal inserting hole. Connecting terminals 15 are inserted into a housing 11, and the connecting terminals are prevented from being pulled out of the housing backwardly by means of locking arms 13 arranged above the respective connecting terminals 15. The front holder is engaged with the housing by a clamping mechanism in an axial direction and is movable laterally in a direction perpendicular to the axial direction. A pair of a terminal inserting hole 17 and an arm operating hole 18 provided for respective connecting terminals are shifted laterally. In a first position of the front holder 16, the terminal inserting hole 17 is aligned with an axial line of a female-type connecting terminal 15, but the arm operating hole 18 is shifted laterally from the locking arm.

  • Publication number: 20060107811
Abstract: The laminate-cutting method according to the present invention is a method for cutting an optical film wherein layers are laminated through a pressure-sensitive adhesive agent with a cutting edge, wherein the cutting of the laminate with the cutting edge is performed in the state that compressive stress applied to the optical film is decreased when the laminate is cut with the cutting edge. This makes it possible to provide a laminate-cutting method, a cutting device and a laminate-cutting pedestal wherein the generation of the adhesion of paste to a cutting edge, the blocking, cracking, chipping of cut faces, and others is prevented.
