  • Publication number: 20230213462
Abstract: A cable inspection device non-destructively inspects a cable used for supporting a bridge. The cable inspection device includes a neutron source and a neutron detection device. The neutron source emits neutrons to the cable. The neutron detection device includes a detection surface arranged outside the cable, and detects target neutrons and measures the number of the detected target neutrons when neutrons are emitted to the cable. The target neutrons are among the neutrons released from the cable and incident on the detection surface, and each have an energy equal to or lower than a predetermined value that is lower than an energy of a fast neutron.

  • Patent number: 10241061
Abstract: A non-destructive inspection device 10 using backscattering of neutrons includes a neutron source 3 that radiates a pulse neutron beam to a surface 1a of an inspection target 1, a neutron detection device 5 that detects scattered neutrons scattered in the inspection target 1 and returned, and a measurement device 7 that measures the detection number of scattered and returned neutrons detected by the neutron detection device 5 and generates detection number data expressing the detection number with respect to time.

  • Patent number: 6017497
Abstract: An atomization roasting furnace for producing ferrite raw material powder includes an elongated roasting furnace body with a center burner located at the top end thereof. At least three liquid spray nozzles are located in an expansion slope portion below the center burner circumferentially with respect to the center burner. A quencher, located below the elongated roasting furnace body, has a top end connected to a bottom end of the elongated roasting furnace body. Quencher nozzles are located adjacent the top end of the quencher.

  • Patent number: 5688430
Abstract: This invention provides an atomization roasting method which can easily obtain a soft ferrite sintered body, for example, a sintered body having a crystal particle size of not greater than 2 .mu.m, by using as a raw material an ultra-fine powder having a mean particle size of not greater than 0.1 .mu.m obtained by atomization roasting and which can obtain a soft ferrite raw material powder subjected to an oxidation reaction, having an extremely small residual chlorine content, and having and extremely small deviation of high vapor pressure components such as zinc between the atomized raw material solution and the oxide as the product and which can economically produce a soft ferrite core having an excellent power loss characteristic in a high frequency range, particularly in a MHz range, and is extremely effective for reducing the size of a high frequency transformer.

  • Patent number: 5083684
Abstract: An aerosol container includes a cylindrical container body having an open end, a lid injection-molded from a thermoplastic resin material and sealingly coupled to the container body and defining a mouth opening, and a metal dispensing cap sealingly coupled to the lid and closing the mouth opening. The dispensing cap is provided with a dispensing nozzle for dispensing the contents of the container in aerosol form. The lid itself includes an upper annular mounting bead sealingly coupled to the dispensing cap and having an interior upper surface (that establishes the mouth opening), and an interior lower surface that is radially outwardly disposed relative to the interior upper surface thereof. Important to the present invention, the lid includes at least three gates circumferentially equally spaced-apart relative to one another along the interior lower surface of the mounting bead.

  • Patent number: 4802405
Abstract: An automotive air-conditioner has a motor-driven centrifugal fan and a casing accommodating the fan and having first and second wall portions adjacent to axially opposite open ends of the fan, respectively. A fresh-air inlet and a first recirculated-air inlet are formed in the first wall portion, while a second recirculated-air inlet is formed in the second wall portion to increase flow of recirculated-air sucked into the fan during a recirculation mode of air-conditioner operation. The fresh-air inlet and the first recirculated-air inlet are selectively opened and closed by a servo-actuated damper, while the second recirculated-air inlet is closed and opened by another servo-actuated damper operatively linked to the first-mentioned damper.
