  • Patent number: 7953106
Abstract: In a transmission apparatus of a Gigabit Ethernet signal, in order to improve line efficiency, time division multiplexing is used. Further, if it is possible to branch/insert plural multiplexed Gigabit Ethernet signals at arbitrary nodes, it is possible to construct a more flexible network. For this reason, importance of a time division multiplexing apparatus having a function of branching/inserting Gigabit Ethernet signals is growing. A Gigabit Ethernet signal is monitored at the previous and subsequent stages of a cross connect unit, IFGs are inserted to the signal and switching is waited. If a signal state at the cross connection unit is an IFG, transmission path switching is performed, thereby performing transmission path switching without instantaneous interruption.

  • Publication number: 20100284497
Abstract: A wireless communication apparatus, having a plurality of antennas 11-1 to 11-M and for diversity-combining signals received by the plurality of antennas 11-1 to 11-M, is provided with a combining information calculation unit 14 for calculating antenna combined amplitude and combining weights based on received power of the plurality of antennas 11-1 to 11-M, a combining unit 15 for weighting and combining the signals received by the plurality of antennas 11-1 to 11-M based on the combining weights calculated, and a decoding processing unit 16 for decoding a combined reception signal generated by the combining unit 15. • Patent number: 7830924
Abstract: A unit timing signal synchronized with a high-order transmission frame is used for measuring a difference between the number of data pieces of a client signal mapped to the high-frequency frame and the number of data pieces of the output client signal by integrating the difference therebetween for each unit timing signal. • Publication number: 20030152388
Abstract: There is suppressed deterioration of transmission quality resulting from FWM generated in the optical fiber of an optical transmission apparatus which performs wavelength division multiplex transmission. A wavelength division multiplexing optical transmission system is not restricted by a wavelength division multiplex density. Intensity of FWM generated in an optical fiber transmission line for each span is observed by a receiver side to determine intensity of output light to send the span by a sender side, to thereby suppress deterioration of the transmission quality due to the FWM generated in the optical fiber of a WDM optical transmission apparatus.
