  • Patent number: 8017668
Abstract: The present invention provides a plain bearing having improved bearing properties, especially anti-seizure property, initial conformability and cavitation resistance. According to the present invention, a sliding layer is provided on a surface of a bearing alloy layer comprising of a copper-based or aluminum-based alloy, thereby the sliding layer is so structured that, to a polyamide-imide resin of a main constituent, a polyamide resin is added and mixed under a high shear force to form a polymer-alloyed resin binder, in which 1 to 75% by mass of a solid lubricant is dispersed. The sliding layer can have high toughness and strength, as well as improved anti-seizure property, initial conformability and cavitation resistance.

  • Patent number: 7662472
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a plain bearing which can be further improved in bearing capability, in particular, anti-seizure property, initial conformability and cavitation resistance. In the present invention, a sliding layer 2 is formed on the surface of a bearing alloy layer 1 formed of a copper-based or aluminum-based alloy, and the sliding layer 2 comprises a resin binder obtained by applying a strong shearing force to a composition comprising a polybenzimidazole resin as main constituent and at least one member selected from the group consisting of a polyamide-imide resin, a polyamide resin and an epoxy resin, to make the composition into a polymer alloy, and 25 to 75 mass % of a solid lubricant. Owing to such a constitution, toughness and strength are imparted to the sliding layer 2 and the anti-seizure property, initial conformability and cavitation resistance can also be improved.

  • Publication number: 20090008538
Abstract: An optical encoder comprises a sensor head including a light source and a photodetector and a scale that moves relative to the sensor head. The light emitted from the light source is reflected, transmitted or diffracted by the scale, and the reflected, transmitted or diffracted light is received by the photodetector to allow the sensor head to output a displacement signal. The sensor head includes a wiring substrate having electrodes formed thereon and on which the light source and photodetector are disposed at predetermined positions and a light transmitting material that covers the wiring substrate, light source, and photodetector. A side plane obtained by cutting the wiring substrate and light transmitting material at the same time in the direction substantially perpendicular to the light receiving surface of the photodetector serves as a reference position related to disposition of the components to be mounted on the wiring substrate.

  • Patent number: 7256391
Abstract: A plurality of analog signals are detected in a sensor in accordance with a displacement of a scale on which a pattern with a predetermined cycle is formed. The plurality of analog signals are subjected to signal processing in a signal processing portion, and then output from a sensor head. Setup switching is performed by a setup switching portion provided in the sensor head in such a manner that an output signal at this moment complies with a signal input specification of a positional information output device. Further, the sensor, the signal processing portion and the setup switching portion form an integrated circuit.
