An extended tubular portion is provided that projects from the tubular portion, and extends inside the funnel shaped portion. A plurality of ribs is provided on an external circumferential surface of the extended tubular portion. The ribs include type one ribs having grooves on both surfaces of an element linking the rib to the extended tubular portion, and a type two rib having no groove.

A stepped latching portion is formed on a distal end of the wing portion. A dimension of the opening is set to be narrower than a diameter of a wire harness to be contained in the interior space. The clamp contains the wire harness in the interior space while the annular strap section is elastically bent outwardly to widen the opening.

    Abstract: A one-piece band clamp that simplifies the installation of a wire harness. The band clamp includes a band portion whose separated ends form a space, and a pair of insertion members, each formed at an end of a band portion adjacent to the space. The insertion members include insertion plates, lock fingers which include lip portions extending outward and downward from the upper edge of the insertion plates, a lock claw formed on at least one insertion plate, and at least one lock notch formed on the facing insertion plate. The wire harness is inserted into a band portion through the space, the lock claws are hooked over the lock notches to join insertion members, which are then inserted into an aperture in a vehicle body panel. Lip portions of the lock fingers press against the edges of the aperture to secure the band clamp to the vehicle body panel.

The lip portion tightly contacts an inner peripheral surface of the insertion hole from inside when the grommet is mounted. The lip portion has a step portion including a first face and a second face respectively engageable with the inner peripheral surface and an outer surface adjacent to a peripheral edge of the insertion hole. Thus, the tightness of the seal between the grommet and a sound insulator secured on the automobile body panel is improved.

    Abstract: A clamp that is locked to a body panel by inserting a flexible locking blade portion thereof into an installing hole and utilizing a return of the locking blade portion to an original state thereof when the locking blade portion exceeds the installing hole. The clamp comprises a resinous material having Rockwell hardness at 100 or more and 150 or less and molded by one-piece molding. When the clamp fits on the body panel, a fit-on sound and consciousness of a return of the locking blade portion to the original state are generated. In the clamp, an increase of an insertion force that is generated by increasing a hardness of the clamp is offset by increasing a height of a projection portion with respect to a substrate portion and decreasing an angle of the locking blade portion formed by turning down a front end of the projection portion to decrease a projection amount of the locking blade portion in a lateral direction thereof.
