Abstract: In a mobile station, an RF receiving unit receives a signal transmitted from another communication device. A reception quality detecting unit detects reception quality on the basis of the received signal. A receiving processing unit extracts a TPC value from the received signal. A transmission power control unit corrects the extracted TPC value on the basis of the detected reception quality. If a conversion condition is satisfied, the transmission power control unit corrects the TPC value. For example, the conversion condition includes a condition in which a first variation direction of the detected reception quality is an inverse of a second variation direction of transmission power represented by the TPC value.
