  • Patent number: 5205504
Abstract: An auto-threading apparatus is disclosed. In a film processing line incorporating a transferring/receiving mechanism having a take-up unit, two pairs of cutters are moved by twos in crosswise directions of a film to cut away side narrow portions of the film by one pair of cutters. Chain clips catch the film ends to longitudinally divide the film into three parts by the other pair of cutters. The side portions of the 3-divided film are cut away by rotary cutters. The left central portion thereof is cut away by moving the other pair of cutters toward the center. The film is transferred to and received by the chain clips.

Date of Patent: April 27, 1993
    Assignee: Mitsubishi Jukogyo Kabushiki Kaisha
Inventors: Noboru Kusafuka, Akira Yoshida, Susumu Tsuyuki, Tatsushi Seko, Yoshimitsu Tsutsui, Toshio Miki, Ryoji Mouri
  • Patent number: 5186407
Abstract: In a film processing line incorporating a transferring/receiving mechanism having a take-up unit, two pairs of cutters are movable in crosswise directions of a film, and narrow portions of the film at sides thereof are cut away by one pair of cutters. Chain clips catch the sides of the film and the other pair of cutters longitudinally divide the film into three parts. The side parts of the divided film are cut away by rotary cutters. The central part thereof is cut away by moving the other pair of cutters toward the center of the film. A portion of the film is thus transferred to and received by the chain clips.

  • Patent number: 4823687
Abstract: In a die-height adjusting device of a mechanical press, a slide of the mechanical press is interlockingly connected to a prime mover through a slide actuating mechanism, and an extendible and contractible device for the adjustment of the die-height is provided at the part between the output end portion of the slide and the slide actuating mechanism supported by a frame. The extendible and contractible device is adapted to be adjusted and stopped in the extending and contracting direction thereof by an operating device for the extension and contraction adjustment. Said extendible and contractible device for the adjustment of the die-height comprises an extending and contracting mechanism and a clamp. Said operating device for the extension and contraction adjustment comprises an actuating means for the extending and contracting mechanism and a clamp actuating means.

  • Patent number: 4669298
Abstract: A press comprises a bed affixed to a frame, a slide vertically movably provided above the bed, a lower cushion mounted to the underside of the bed and having chambers, an upper cushion mounted to the slide and having chambers, a pneumatic hydraulic control circuit for a pressure source of each of the cushions, and a control for controlling individually the pressure within the chambers, wherein a complicated workpiece can be formed in one stroke of the slide.

  • Patent number: 4409160
Abstract: A method for controlling the thickness of an extruded, biaxially elongated film product, in which thickness deviations are controlled automatically and without supervision. In the method, correlation between positions along the widthwise direction of a film sheet and positions of die manipulation bolts of an extrusion die is obtained, and initially, a profile of the film sheet prior to lateral elongation is converged into a tolerable range; thereafter, the thickness of the film sheet after lateral elongation is measured, and if there are thickness deviations outside the tolerable range, a thickness regulation is effected by transmitting a signal corresponding to the thickness deviations to the appropriate die manipulation bolts.
