  • Patent number: 4608593
Abstract: A color television camera apparatus wherein a video signal is adjusted by the steps of detecting adjustment data with respect to predetermined adjustment items from the video signal corresponding to the pattern of a test chart, comparing the adjustment data with reference data to obtain correcting data and supplying the correcting data to a video signal adjusting circuit. The correcting data is modified by variation data stored in a memory in advance and the modified correcting data is supplied to the video signal adjusting circuit. The difference between the video signals adjusted on the basis of the correcting data and the modified correcting data is then calculated and judgement is made as to whether the difference falls within a predetermined allowable range, whereby abnormality in the control system of the color television camera apparatus can be detected.

  • Patent number: 4320414
Abstract: Disclosed is an adjusting device for a television camera apparatus which comprises a signal processing circuit for processing a video signal, a data detecting circuit for detecting an adjusting data from the processed video signal from the signal processing circuit, and an arithmetically operating circuit for calculating a correcting data from a reference data and the adjusting data from the data detecting circuit. The correcting data is converted by a correction signal circuit into an analog correction signal. This signal is supplied to the signal processing circuit and also to a deflection circuit. The reference data and connecting data are stored in a memory section comprised of a Randum Access Memory and a non-volatile memory. Both such reference data and correcting data are stored, at the time of adjusting the camera apparatus, in the Randum Access Memory and, upon completion of such adjustment, is transferred from the Randum Access Memory to the non-volatile memory.

The correcting data is converted by a correction signal circuit into an analog correction signal. This signal is supplied to the signal processing circuit and also to a deflection circuit. The adjusting device further comprises a data input means for manually inputting manual correcting data used to correct the adjustment errors inherently occurring in the television camera apparatus. The manual correcting data from the data input means is added to a reference data, whereby a manual adjusting data is determined.

  • Patent number: 4290038
Abstract: A scanning-area rotation device for an image pickup tube has a coil (10) for rotating a scanning-area by an electron beam on the target surface of an image pickup tube (14), a shield ring (46) for electrostatically shielding the coil (10) from the target of the image pickup tube (14), and a shield cover (44) for magnetically shielding the coil (10). The shield ring (46) electrostatically shields the target and signal circuit connecting to the target from the coil (10), but does not shield a magnetic flux from the coil (10) to the target. The shield cover (44) shields a magnetic flux developed by the coil (10) and extending to the exterior of the cover (44).

  • Patent number: 4035836
Abstract: A prism optical system for a color television camera having first and second dichroic layers designed to split a light passing through the objective lens into three color light components adapted to enter the corresponding three pickup tubes, wherein the first dichroic layer is positioned nearer to the objective lens than the second dichroic layer to reflect at least a green light component and defines an angle of 30.degree. or less with a plane perpendicularly intersecting the axis of a nonreflecting light; a light reflected by the first dichroic layer is totally reflected by that prism surface of a first prism which faces the objective lens and is emitted outside of a prism system; the second dichroic layer defines an angle of 45.degree. or less with a plane perpendicularly intersecting the axis of a nonreflecting light; and a light reflected by the second dichroic layer is immediately emitted outside of the prism system.
