In a core add-in section for creating a graph and the like from numeric data, when a graph displayed in a graph display area is clicked, a graph information processing section acquires time information which is a parameter on the X-axis (horizontal axis) at the clicked position. A character information acquiring section searches an article database server storing article information (including title information and text information such as on a newspaper article) and acquires the article information including date/time information which is information on one of the attributes matches the acquired time information.
