  • Publication number: 20120050807
Abstract: In order to provide an operation console allowing highly efficient movement of displayed images, a CPU controlling a touch-panel display causes a display panel to display an image edition mode screen image including preview images of a plurality of pages in a movable manner. If it is detected that any of the plurality of preview images is in a selected state (first press) based on a user operation on the touch-panel, determination is made as to whether an instruction (second press and flick operation) to move the plurality of preview images other than the selected preview image has been issued, based on a user operation on the touch-panel. If it is determined that the instruction has been given, the plurality of preview images other than the selected preview image are scrolled.

  • Publication number: 20090009810
Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes a reading means for reading image data of an original to be read, an area specifying means for specifying an image area from the read image data, a printing means for printing the image data, a post-processing means for subjecting recording paper to post-processing after completion of printing, and a control means for controlling each of the aforementioned means. Here, when post-processing is requested, the control means after reading the image data of the entire original by the reading means specifies the image area of the read image data by the area specifying means and judges whether or not the specified image area overlaps a gutter area.

  • Publication number: 20090013261
Abstract: A display apparatus is provided, that is capable of, even when an icon displayed to a viewer who is positioned in a different view angle direction is erroneously operated, preventing an execution of processing concerning the wrong operation. As shown by the reference numeral M, when a viewer X who is positioned in a predetermined view angle direction (left side) erroneously operates an icon Y displayed to a viewer Y who is positioned in a different view angle direction (right side) from that direction, an icon display control portion displays dialogs for requesting an input as to whether or not processing concerning the operated icon is required on display screens. Based on an input operation in the dialog displayed in the view angle direction of the icon Y, the icon execution control portion performs a control of the execution of the processing concerning the icon.

  • Publication number: 20070285675
Abstract: A setting data selecting portion selects setting data for each function according to user input to an operation input portion, the setting data being used to set various preset values related to functions of the image processing apparatus. An image forming portion forms setting data selected by the setting data selecting portion into an image on a recording medium to make a clone sheet. A data setting portion sets setting data, which is read from a clone sheet by an image reading portion, on the image processing apparatus into which the data setting portion is incorporated, the set data being the setting data related to corresponding functions. This setting data may include setting data selected out of prepared selection items, setting data set by user input, type information of the image processing apparatus, and log information of the image processing apparatus.

  • Publication number: 20070252824
Abstract: The object is to provide an image forming apparatus that can easily input a setting value associated with a fractional number from a keypad. In a fractional number input mode, if a numeric value (i) is input from the numeric keypad, it is determined whether the numeric value is within an input range set as a numeric value of an integer portion; if a next input numeric value (ii) can be both the one's place of the integer portion and a numerator of a fractional portion, (i) and (ii) are not determined; if both portions can be determined by a next input numeric value (iii), the integer portion displays (i), the numerator portion displays (ii) and “/”; and if the numeric value (iii) can only be a denominator, (i), (ii), and (iii) are defined as the integer, the numerator, and the denominator, respectively.
