  • Patent number: 6122560
Abstract: A method or device for computing material requirements which calculates various parts and materials necessary for products to be produced when a production plan is input, in order to reduce the processing time for a material requirements computation. In order to establish the object, the method or device of computing material requirements is provided, which can perform a parallel process without using conventional low level codes. Parts computing means are respectively assigned to items. When the lower parts computing means receives the computation result of the upper parts computing means, it independently executes the computing process if the computation result is sufficient for the parts computation.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 3, 1997
Date of Patent: September 19, 2000
    Assignee: Hitachi, Ltd.
Inventors: Takahiro Tsukishima, Hideaki Matoba, Mitsuhiro Enomoto, Mitsuharu Hayakawa, Masahiro Sato, Tetsushi Tomizawa, Yoshinao Arai

  • Patent number: 5576965
Abstract: In a design aiding method, a design aiding apparatus having the method, or a design aiding system possessing a plurality of such design aiding apparatuses for use in a field of computer software to facilitate a design process, there is determined, for a product having many variations of attributes and values thereof, an appropriate design procedure according to a state of design in a process of determining the attribute values of the product satisfying a request of a client. At occurrence of, for example, conflict during the design, the design procedure is guided for the user to obtain a design plan conforming to the request.

  • Patent number: 5266877
Abstract: In the invention, shapes of an insertion head, a jig and components are indicated to enable updating and new registration, and the relative position between the components and the mounter and the mounting process, the mounting sequence and the collision state of each component are indicated. Thereby input of data is facilitated and error of the data can be easily found. Data required at indicating the collision state indication and the name of the mounter to mount the component and the mounting direction, need not be stored by the user.
