Patent number: 11960836Abstract: An index value assignment device comprises: a selection unit that prompts a user to select, from a sentence, one or more words that the user feels to have a same degree of a predetermined index value with respect to one or more first words for which the index value is known; a validation unit that validates the selection result by the user on a basis of the index value of a second word for which the index value is known from among the one or more words included in the selection result; and a determination unit that determines the index value with respect to a third word for which the index value is unknown from among the one or more words selected by the user, on a basis of the index value of the first word according to the selection result for which the selection result is determined to be valid. Consequently, the efficiency of assigning word familiarity is increased.Type: GrantFiled: March 11, 2020Date of Patent: April 16, 2024Assignee: NIPPON TELEGRAPH AND TELEPHONE CORPORATIONInventors: Yoshinari Shirai, Tessei Kobayashi, Sanae Fujita, Masafumi Matsuda, Yasue Kishino

Patent number: 5585059Abstract: There is disclosed water soluble algin fibers and such fibers which have antibiotics immobilized thereto. The water soluble algin fibers are produced by extruding an aqueous dope which contains water soluble algin therein into a large quantity of a hydrophilic organic solvent exemplified by acetone. The water soluble algin fibers which have antibiotics immobilized thereto are produced in the same manner by using a dope containing antibiotics.Type: GrantFiled: October 26, 1993Date of Patent: December 17, 1996Assignees: Sakai Chemical Industry Co., Ltd., Agency of Industrial Science and TechnologyInventors: Yoshinari Kobayashi, Hiroshi Kamishima, Satoshi Fukuoka, Hideki Obika, Tsutomu Asaoka, Keishi Tenma

Patent number: 5474781Abstract: There is disclosed water soluble algin fibers and such fibers which have antibiotics immobilized thereto. The water soluble algin fibers are produced by extruding an aqueous dope which contains water soluble algin therein into a large quantity of a hydrophilic organic nonsolvent exemplified by acetone. The water soluble algin fibers which have antibiotics immobilized thereto are produced in the same manner by using a dope containing antibiotics.Type: GrantFiled: January 22, 1991Date of Patent: December 12, 1995Assignees: Sakai Chemical Industry Co., Ltd., Agency of Industrial Science & TechnologyInventors: Yoshinari Kobayashi, Hiroshi Kamishima, Satoshi Fukuoka, Hideki Obika, Tsutomu Asaoka, Keishi Tenma

Patent number: 4744830Abstract: The invention provides a fibrous binder capable of exhibiting a bonding ability in a dry condition for fibers having no self-adhesiveness in paper making but capable of imparting the paper made by use of the same with disintegrability into discrete fibers in a wet condition so that the paper is disposable in water. The fibrous binder is prepared by wet-spinning of an aqueous dope containing a water-soluble salt, e.g. sodium salt, of alginic acid and an alkyleneglycol ester of alginic acid in a specified proportion into a coagulation bath containing a water-soluble salt of certain metals, e.g. calcium, of which the ions are replaceable with the sodium ions of the water-soluble salt of alginic acid to convert the acid into a water-insoluble salt so as to form a water-insoluble gel in a fibrous form of a blend composed of the water-insoluble metal salt of alginic acid and the alkyleneglycol ester of alginic acid.Type: GrantFiled: November 26, 1986Date of Patent: May 17, 1988Assignee: Agency of Industrial Science & TechnologyInventors: Yoshinari Kobayashi, Ryukichi Matsuo

Patent number: 4392916Abstract: The invention provides a novel method for making paper of regenerated chious fibers without the use of any binder materials. By virtue of the inherent physiological inertness of the chitinous fibers and the absence of any binder materials, the paper obtained by the inventive method is advantageously used in medical treatment in contact with living body tissues. The principle of the method is that the chitinous fibers prepared by a wet spinning process are never brought into a dry condition or always kept wet with water down to the step of sheet making so that the self-bonding power of the fibers by the hydrogen bonding is never decreased and a chitinous paper with sufficient strengths can be prepared without a binder material. Alternatively, once dried chitinous fibers can be treated with a hydrogen-bond forming agent, e.g. urea, so that the sheet making is equally successful without the use of a binder material.Type: GrantFiled: February 23, 1982Date of Patent: July 12, 1983Assignees: Director-General of the Agency of Industrial Science and Technology, President of Hokkaido UniversityInventors: Masashi Nishiyama, Yoshinari Kobayashi, Seiichi Tokura, Norio Nishi
