  • Patent number: 6525468
Abstract: A fluorescent display device cable of being significantly increased in emission. A grid electrode is formed of a nonleaded conductive paste constituted by Al containing at least one of organic metal and phosphate glass frit by screen printing. This positively prevents precipitation of Pb on the grid electrode due to reduction of PbO by oxidation of Al during calcination of the conductive paste as encountered with the prior art.

  • Publication number: 20030020967
Abstract: A recording device includes an image retrieval unit, a memory, an image forming unit, and a control unit. The image retrieval unit retrieves images of the document pages as document image data. The control unit begins retrieving document image data of a document page from the memory as the image retrieval unit is retrieving document image data of the document page and sends the document image data to the image forming unit. The image forming unit uses document image data from the memory to form images on the recording sheets faster than the image retrieval unit retrieves the image data. The control unit checks the memory to confirm whether document image data for a next document page is stored in the memory. The timing of the memory check is both after the image forming unit completes forming an image of a present document page at the recording sheet transport speed and when storage of image data retrieved by the image retrieval unit for the next document page is anticipated to start in the memory.

  • Patent number: 5606462
Abstract: A color filter capable of being uniformly formed without any deformation of a light-permeable anode conductor and prevented from being adversely affected by etching for formation of the anode conductor. A light-permeable anode substrate free of any deformation is uniformly formed thereon with anode conductors, on which color filters are formed of a mixture of a composite oxide pigment and a conductive material so as to cover the anode conductors. The color filters each are formed by arranging a color filter material in a predetermined pattern, followed by calcination. Then, phosphor layers are deposited on the color filters. The phosphor layers are electrically connected through the conductive material of the color filters to the anode conductors. A thickness of the color filters and a particle diameter of the conductive material are determined to be substantially the same, so that the color filters exhibit conductivity only in a direction of thickness.

  • Patent number: 5543685
Abstract: A fluorescent display device of the front emission type capable of permitting light-permeable anode conductors to be uniformly formed without any deformation and preventing color filters from being affected by etching carried out for forming the anode conductors. A light-permeable anode substrate is provided thereon with strip-like filters, which are then formed thereon with a uniform and flat protective film of light-permeable, insulating and etching-resistant properties. Then, anode conductors are arranged on the protective film. Thus, the anode conductors can be uniformly formed on the flat protective film irrespective of unevenness on a surface of the filters. Also, the protective film prevents the anode conductors from being exposed to etching liquid used for formation of the anode conductors.
